I find it shocking that some fans are complaining to the extent they are about are club and brands what more do they need to do, our club is finally going in the right direction with the new stadium and making quality signings that we could only dream of in recent times, for those of you who are slagging off brands imo are completely clueless about soccer, brands has worked wonders for our club in the little time he has been with us, forgetting last seasons great signings for me this window has bin just as good with not a great deal spent yes there could of bin one or two more, cb would of bin nice but gbminn was brought in to cover this position and will prove a very good buy delph is a bargain for that price, Gomez for 22m unbelievable price, Kean future star worth every penny Sidibe again great addition and for zaha yes I would like him but for the price quoted for me he is nowhere near worth it and I would also question his attitude and the fact he didn't want to come to us for that money we could do a lot better, iwobi for me will be a very good buy he is still very young and think he will surprise slot come end of season and if needs be we can look to add one or two in January I for one am more excited about where our club is going right now than I have ever bin and hope we all get right behind the team this year we are heading in the right direction so enjoy it we are still building and it might even be another season before we are properly challenging just please give the club the time it needs really can't wait for season to start hope we all enjoy it coyb.

Without sounding like I am picking an argument which I am not, you are a positive poster and a supporter of Roberto, yet when I criticise him I use facts to back up my point so if you came on and supported Roberto and used facts yourself then maybe people would agree with you? Surely even you as one of the defenders of Roberto cannot be happy with being in 12th position and only winning 4 home games, conceding the most goals at home, losing to teams like West Brom and Swansea a side that had not beaten us in the top flight until Bobby. Being beaten convincingly by a poor United side. Losing a 2 goal lead to Bournemouth and again to West Ham. Oh and being beaten by stoke after being in the lead. Sometimes in life you have to swallow your pride and admit maybe you are wrong.

Stats and facts can stack up on either side. I don't blame for the weekend as hid tactics should have seen us go 3 up with ten men. I haven't seen that done in a long time. However, certain players let us down.
For me the failings of last year are still there. We are still poor defensively, weak on crosses, still not stopping crosses coming in, Stones' mistakes, Lukaku's first touch and poor simple pass, Howard allowed to stay in goal 2 years too long, failure to buy a covering right back, Mirallas temperament, lack of a plan B, poor substitutions, lack of quality cover up front, garbled rubbish in post match interviews, over hyping players and praising poor performances but probably the worst I've seen was the other week when he had a black belt on with brown shoes. Instant sackable offense in my opinion.

Worst manager in world for only giving him 5min now he the worst for giving him more lukaku had scored penalty ye all be saying how great Martinez is and what great subs game is lost today cause of some bad defending by our defenders again.

Upset as everyone ed sending off didn't help slightly harsh I think Martinez has made mistakes but fed up listening the select few on here moan and blame Martinez for every little thing subs for me nothing to do with loss today IMO poor defending for all three goals as jags has said defence has let us down this season and they did again today luckily Howard is not in goal I'm sure he would also be at fault for all three :)

Maybe not all roberto's fault today cobyone, but its not just today. how many games have we lost or thrown away points from winning positions. the man can't organise a defence. Granted, professional defenders should know how to defend but seriously, the guy needs a defensive coach to help him at least.

Language Ed025! It's tame to what I'd love to say. I agree mostly with what Cobyone is saying about supporters.
At the same time we have lost too many games from winning positions. There is obviously something wrong at the back.
Cobyone is right that the same people get blamed. If Stones was on second half no doubt he would be pointed at. I haven't heard one person point out Funes Mori.
He's playing very well lately. But I'll call it as it is. He was totally at fault for their first goal. I have nothing against Mori but I will call on a mistake by any player when I see it.
Their first goal was headed in right beside Mori. He never even contested. Yet everyone is blaming Mirallas and Martinez.
They have to take their part of the blame but its not 100% their fault. Defence is obviously where we are lacking.
I know it was hard on the players to play with 10 men but I feel we still should of got something from the game. A draw at the very least.
Angry and upset like everyone. I really thought we were going to finish the season strong. Today was a kick in the teeth. Especially the way it happened.
A well, they'll just have to pick themselves up and carry on. No point wallowing in self pity.

The manager cannot manage a football game from start to finish. That means changing systems and personnel to win games or in today's case see out the game. That is my criticism of him and I believe that is his downfall he is one dimensional. No plan B at all and no organisation of a defence to protect a lead. The dfference between wanting Niasse on on Tuesday was villa are poor and that game was over today called for a more defensive sub in Barry at the sacrifice of Barkley who gave the ball away a lot and doesn't tackle. If you are happy with losing 7 home games and losing games from winning positions then that's fine coby but you are definitely in the minority because were I sit in the upper bullens I have not seen or heard anybody happy with a mid table finish or the manager.
