do you know if Everton have approached PSG about Adrien Rabiot?
I can’t see it myself.
If true, I know that his future and Gueye’s future are completely independent but it could help strike a deal on both sides and help negotiation along the way if we’re both looking to obtain a player from each other. not that they would be directly linked.
I would rather keep Gueye and sign Gomes is £25m is the fee they’re looking for. He’s fit in well, seems like a genuinely nice guy for the other squad players to be around and loves life at Goodison.

JJ EFC - Spot on mate, why we waiting with Gomez we know the fee let's just offer the £25m shows Andre we want him. Why leave him in the window I just think the longer we leave it the less chance we are getting him, for me he’s a class act and 1-2 good seasons he worth 35-40m so no brainer for me.
Does anyone know if it’s the player waiting to see if Champions League team come in which I understand if so, if not sort it out EFC.

We have used the ‘pay what they want’ approach before and look where it has got us. Hard as it is for us fans sat watching all the media reporting day by day and nothing happening, the reality is that it is a business and a major purchase. Why pay £30m if we can negotiate and get him for £25m. Barcelona will want the cash to make their own purchases - so both sides just playing hardball. Let’s just trust Brands and be patient.

I'd much rather he left to be honest with you. The Lad has got an awful attitude and has done nothing but sulk since he got here, been given limited opportunities yes but 90% of the time he has done absolutely nothing whenever he comes on or starts. if we got 25-30m i'd bite your hand off for it!

You can see it at the game mate. every time he comes on the pitch he just walks around. got a massive cheer when he was warming up and came on against Valencia and didn't acknowledge it once. The lad doesn't want to be here. his workrate is poor and other than a few fancy flicks he hasn't done anything. especially nothing that would value him at the rumored amounts we are being offered for him.

I wan't anyone who pull on the shirt to do well and i'd love for him to surprise me, I just can't see it I don't think he has the right attitude towards workrate especially. he only seems to be interested when he's actually got the ball his backtracking is non-existent.

You're Right he is young, but if anything I would expect a youngster to be giving it his all when on the pitch, running round like a headless chicken at times.
For me he doesn't want to be here and we are getting offered a great amount of money (if you believe the rumors) for him considering he is unproven.
My original comment is that for 25-30m I would bite your hand off and send him on his way and I stand by that, he could well be the next big thing but realistically there are younger/ same age players as him with a far better all round game and in my opinion he is never going to get upto the highest levels of Football.
Football is a game of opinions and this is just mine :)

Just read that arsenal may off load Ramsey.
I think Everton tried for him when he chose to move to Arsenal. What do you think our chances are of landing him now?

He’s a good player but think we’re fairly well set I in his position. TBF I think we’re quite well set in most areas aside from cover at RB, a long term LB and another striker, providing we get Lookman back on board.

I read an interview on either Marco or brands early in the season who said Barcelona wanted to offload Gomez and he was offered to ya because of the Digne and Mina deals. “We couldn’t afford to buy him so a loan was good choice! †Or something along those lines.

Had one good season next to Kante but nothing since.
I would like him to do well being an English player and this is the sort of player that we could attract but I don’t think this wasn’t another case of Chelsea ruining an English player, he just wasn’t good enough in the first place, not for us and certainly not for champs league and title contender team.
