Hi Ed's any info on this sosa lad from river plate what type of player is he?

James21345

{Ed002's Note - Santiago Sosa (DM) I am not aware of interest but it would take significant money to ensure a WP and Tameze is a far more obvious option to replace Gueye.}

1.) 18 May 2019 00:08:48
Thanks ed.

2.) 18 May 2019 11:16:39
I answered a banter post that ssn we’re reporting that we were linked to Jean Kevin Augustine and Bertrand Traore
Big C.

Morning eds.
I may be incorrect here but I'm sure I remember when we were first linked with Gomez wasn't it Barcelona only wanted to sell and we wanted the loan that was what dragged it out until he got injured then the loan was the option.
Barcelona saying he's still very much part of there plans now is surely just good business sense as it will maximise what they can get in terms of transfer fee and is the sensible thing from there side compare it with Niassie as soon as koeman said he had no future and if he wanted to play he must leave Everton instantly is transfer value was massively reduced who would pay good money for anything that someone is so desperate to get rid of? As I say I may be wrong but there's just something in my mind that seems to remember it this way.

James21345

{Ed025's Note - as far as i remember james it was always going to be a loan mate, mind you i cant remember if i have put sugar in my tea these days.. :)

1.) 11 Nov 2018 12:36:25
Sounds like were in same boat cheers ed just really bugging me and don't know why I seem to remember that I've tried searching and can't find anything must be going mad lol.

{Ed025's Note - join the club james.. :)

2.) 11 Nov 2018 23:05:42
I also remember this the reason it was a loan was to prove his fitness due to injury and lack of games. They obviously just trying to keep his value up. Got to get him in the summer for me and Zouma.

3.) 11 Nov 2018 18:27:17
James is right, Barcelona wanted a sale and touted him around, but in the end we opted for a loan move instead.

4.) 11 Nov 2018 18:29:47
Sounds like me and you are in the same boat Ed, I get half way upstairs then forget what I was going up for, and have to come back down to remembe, no wet patches so ruled the toilet out.

{Ed025's Note - its old age bignev, one thing i can remember though is how happy i am with the way we are playing mate, and i can still recall how bad we were under allardyce which is a shame.. :)

27 Oct 2018 17:11:29
Hi eds just wondering who is this Jesus corona ed 2 mentions.

James21345

{Ed002's Note - He is a RW from Mexico who plays for Porto having previously played for Twente in the Netherlands. He plays for the national side. Dortmund have considered him as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic but have since moved on to look at other targets. There has also been some interest from elsewhere.}

1.) 27 Oct 2018 18:50:48
Cheers ed I'd never heard of him
Thanks for the info.

{Ed002's Note - I think a move is unlikely James, but Everton have had a look.}

12 Oct 2018 08:26:31
Hi eds just a query is there a recall option in onyreku loan deal?
He seems yo be doing ok and was wondering now he's in the Nigeria squad is he closer to getting a work permit?
Could this be an option for January if rumours are true 're Niasse and tosun.

James21345

{Ed002's Note - Onyekuru won't be returning to Everton in January and has no Work Permit James. Everton may try again for a WP in the summer or perhaps look to sell him as (a) they are overrun with LW, and (b) he does not meet the WP criteria.}

1.) 12 Oct 2018 19:50:18
Cheers ed starting to think he will just be 1 of those players we won't see I didn't realize he was left wing so totally agree no need for him after years of being short we have so many lw now thanks for the reply.

{Ed002's Note - And he has a reputation of running hot and cold in games. A big step up.}

Hi eds probably 24 hrs late in asking this had to register a new account as couldn't get on on my old 1 with getting a new phone
Just wondering on the Rodwell situation if as a free agent are we able to sign him to a contract after the transfer window closes.

James21345

{Ed025's Note - yes but only if we are daft james..

1.) 02 Aug 2018 20:53:06
For a freebie and wages less than 40k I would take him as a squad player, then sell him to City again.

2.) 02 Aug 2018 21:16:41
Cmon mate how stupid is that lol.

3.) 02 Aug 2018 21:58:34
Hi Ed / James 21345, Ed I know you answered yes to James question but to further query / clarify . we can sign him but he would NOT be able to play would he? . My understanding was that the registration also closes on the 9th?

{Ed002's Note - He can sign and play if he was a free agent during the preceding window.}

4.) 02 Aug 2018 22:08:23
Thanks Ed, I know it’s different for the EPL as there registration has remained the 31st Aug. all very confusing after a days work! Thanks again.

{Ed002's Note - The EPL is August 9.}

5.) 02 Aug 2018 22:24:21
Got it now! It’s the EFL, and they can still loan players until the 31st, got there eventually 👍.

Just wanted to be first to say welcome back dark clouds.

James21345

1.) 09 Mar 2019 17:20:29
I wish I was wrong you know.

2.) 09 Mar 2019 18:03:45
And were you wishing for an Everton win DC?

3.) 09 Mar 2019 18:18:06
Come on NickB57! Why do you think we get all wound up, we all want Everton to win. For me playing crap football but winning 1-0 every week would be fantastic. All the evidence is there about Silva yet they appointed him anyway. Yes the players have to shoulder blame but it is down to the Manager and coaching staff to train them. Decisions on substitutions are also down to the Manager and those today were downright awful. Yes you can't go sacking Managers willy nilly but in this case this bloke if kept on is going to cost us revenue, in the end, sacking him now could be a good investment decision.

4.) 09 Mar 2019 18:29:07
I respect your view DFS as I respect all others. I just don't see the logic in sacking another manager with 9 games to go who is still surrounded by 4 other managers signings. But as you say we all want what is best for our club. It is time the players stood up to be counted in my opinion.

02 Feb 2019 18:43:26
1 win I'm 6 at home can't but feel the best we can hope for now with remaining fixtures is 2 in 12.

James21345

1.) 02 Feb 2019 20:58:24
I am really struggling to identify a Team we can beat in our remaining games.

02 Feb 2019 18:32:21
Moshri had a dream,
To build our football team,
He spent loads of money on players managers and tat,
Were rubbish at the back,
Were rubbish in attack,
The school of science,
Were no were near that.

Got to say I'm somewhere in the middle between ed 2 and pauly
I'll try to explain without annoying either side as appreciate everyone who contributes on here
Hoddle would have been interesting excellent club record and personally think he would have acheiv3d something with England but for that comment

Silva was happy at first starting to wear thin now yes at some point we need to draw a line and settle with a manager for probably 3 seasons to sort it

The squad is clearly still just as unbalanced as previous seasons we have probably a pool of 13 or 14 players to pick a starting 11 from that maintains the same strength in my mind any 2 of the 3 centre backs and Kenny or Coleman or digne or Baines anyone else the quality drops so that's really 7 players not really under threat for there starting place
Right wing is a really ridiculous situation we only have Walcott who at the min is really poor and yet we have 2 players who would on present form deserve a start ahead of him (vlasic and mirrallas) on loan
Zouma is the best centre back at the club and if we could have got him for the loan fee and the price of mina a terrible decision again by the people making the choice
Gomez clearly will have other options clearly from more attractive clubs than what we are at the min let's be honest if Tottenham want him we have no chance he will get to challenge for honours play in what looks like it will be a top top stadium champions league be in London etc or come to us
The difficult 1 for me is I'll be honest I was as anti Sam as anyone and hated watching us last season that today was just as bad but we've since Sam spent a fortune to still be where we were
I don't know the answers wish I did I don't know what we can do I wanted and still want it to work for Silva but am rapidly losing faith and with everything going on we as a club are becoming a laughing stock. I know people will disagree but when u look at the number of people were still paying that aren't at the club are superb ability to pay over the odds and then anyone we are selling we reduce there value so quick the behaviour we adopt the whole club needs a shakedown and clean up from top to bottom and that will be years not months.

James21345

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Hoddle. Keep listening to your in the know pauly. Now he has declared Silva a liar one would hope the club will look to move him on as soon as possible.}

1.) 01 Jan 2019 21:17:38
Soŕry if it came across wrong only mentioned Hoddle as he was mentioned and personally I rate him highly as a manager and again as all ways ed thanks for taking time to reply and for the insight to the behind the scenes things that I only can wish I had access to as it's all ways interesting and appreciated.

{Ed002's Note - You stick with the in the know who will bring you the latest news. Now he has outed the coach, I have no doubt the club will have to react. Clearly he is better placed than my “utter tripe”.}

2.) 02 Jan 2019 10:58:42
Not so much as a Manager but as a person of good football knowledge and contacts is how I rate Hoddle. The man is not right at the moment but we could do far worse (we already have it seems) , than seek his consultation. Can only repeat that to reach the financial and business status of those such as Mr Moshri, it surely takes astute advice and judgement, which makes our continual Team Coach/ Managerial recruitment mistakrs all the more baffling.

3.) 02 Jan 2019 11:14:08
James. In the case of Stats we would have been better off letting Alardyce see out his contract. In the case of tactics, formation and style we would have been better off sticking with Martinez. Finally in the case of giving a coach/ manager time we would have been better off asking Moyes to come back.

Wow stoke fans will detest us for Williams and Martina
Saw Williams calamitous defending in the week and just watching there game now 2st goal Rotherham winger skips past Martina Williams pushes him over penalty then from a corner Williams losses his man 2 0.

Cheers for the info ed just wondering if it would be possible to expand a little bit
Keane who may be interested and what sort of price
Pickford is it the club looking to change following last season or is it the player or just bigger clubs looking
Sims which German clubs have been scouting
Cheers for any info on this.

James21345

{Ed002's Note - Everton won't be looking to sell Michael Keane but Spurs are keen and Arsenal might be at the right price. Pickford wants to step up. Hoffenheim and Beyer Leverkusen have an interest in Simms and others have looked.}
