Hi eds,
Just a query with players returning at the end of their loans i.e Sandro and bolasie are they able to take part in any of the remaining games this season?
{Ed002's Note - No. Only those at the club who were eligible in January but not included on the list, typically because of injury.}
1.) 30 Jun 2020 13:41:40
Cheers Ed I'd totally forgot about registering the squad.
24 Jun 2020 20:23:13
Hi Ed just wondered if you can shed any light on bramley Moor seen some tweets from Dan meis that he's no longer involved any idea what this may mean for the stadium?
{Ed025's Note - i dont want to speculate at this time james, im not sure what has happened yet mate and we need to hear the reasons from the horses mouth before we start speculating..
1.) 25 Jun 2020 16:35:08
According to the echo he was told he would have to bid to be technical architect during construction and lost the bid he said he was never told this would be the case and has never had it happen on any other project he's been involved in I actually think this is shocking from the club the guy has been nothing but professional throughout the whole process and should clearly of been allowed to finish what he started.
2.) 25 Jun 2020 09:50:13
Cheers Ed appreciate the reply.
{Ed025's Note - no problem james mate..
3.) 26 Jun 2020 10:50:53
Timing is poor, should have waited until we got news if the planning submit was accepted, unless Everton have heard through the grapevine, Joe Anderson, cough, cough, has given them the wink.
4.) 26 Jun 2020 19:37:26
Fingers in pies lads. Certain people just cannot let go.
18 Oct 2019 21:52:14
Just a query anything still in the pipeline with the young Brazilian lad we was being linked with.

Hit the point of duchess needs to be gone but who next?
Potter - struggle to see him getting a tune out of these players that play like strangers bringing him in isn't going to see doucs able to pass
Mourinho - fried kins now him have worked with him would at least make up for the lack of spirit on the pitch by wanting to kill everyone after about 3 training sessions
Baines - youth management dosent really prepare for the mess where in but probably in a better position than most to see the internal mess of the first team
Cooper - did ok at forest didn't work at Leicester possibly just a slightly more modern version of the dinosaur type manager
Not really sure of who else would either be available or not a massive risk due to the state we're in both with players and finances. This leads me to my current pick I think would possibly be Carsley - bit more experiance than some thought he did well with England and knows the club.
But I just do not know at the moment where we go all I'm sure is that how we are currently will end in disaster.
1.) 04 Jan 2025 19:50:24
This is not the same club that Carsley played for.

Don't get me wrong I want duchess gone but personnaly I don't think that has to be the first concern for the owners. For me the immediate priority needs to be the director of football position if we are sticking with therwell then get him on a new contract and start letting him do the job this jan we need to be looking to try to build the squad for next season and we won't be able to just sign for fees so need to be able to look at out of contract players and untill there is a clear plan for future progression we will just repeat previous mistakes we need to get organised in the sense of this is how we will play this is a manager that can play that style these are players that can play that style, this is the next manager we will bring in after who we have and allow rhe momentum to build. Sacking the dinosaur before the foundations are in place will just see another manager trying to pick the pieces with a squad of mixed managers players that don't complement each other.
1.) 30 Dec 2024 10:05:19
Sorry, James, don’t agree. The DOF is a long term strategic position and requires careful consideration. The manager controls training and match days and this is what’s going to get us relegated. Thelwell’s contract is up in the summer anyway.
2.) 30 Dec 2024 10:27:12
Get rid of dyche bring new man in won't solve the problem some of these players have seen of 5 managers off the whole corr of the place needs renewed from the academy up. the club doesn't compete to win anymore it's a try an survive mentality. there's no other club with a lower win rate than everton relegated clubs go down a division and start winning we just remain in the same league getting rolled every year we don't no how to win anymore and the odd Time we do we do alap of honour to celebrate.
3.) 30 Dec 2024 10:47:20
Thellwell is as much to blame he too needs to go.
4.) 30 Dec 2024 10:56:20
Forgive me for sounding unsure on this. Surely the job of the DOF is to find players that will enhance the squad and fit into a style of play as directed by the club. The role of the manager is to select from the players made available. For me the club needs to decide who is more important. The DOF or the manager. It's no good getting players in if the manager won't use them or plays them out of position. If they believe the DOF is long term then get rid of the manager and find someone who can work with the DOF. The problem with Dyche is he is old school and believes the manager knows best. Well he doesn't and he should go now this week.
5.) 30 Dec 2024 11:14:10
There just has to be serious talks behind closed doors, these people are not stupid, investment needs protecting. Dyches methods are not working, his latest comment blaming the players should be a sack him marker.
6.) 30 Dec 2024 12:55:35
Exactly Do the 2 speak about players or does Thelwell choose who we sign and SD decides they aren't premiership ready so doesn't even try them. ???? and who would even want to sign for us in January? Free transfers wanting a pay day or pay over the odds for players who probably wouldn't even inprove us as shocking as that sounds. then like others have said get a new manager who doesn't fancy these new signings because they want players with some ability and hunger and not 1s that just run. get rid of Dyche before the window opens for me. COYBS.
7.) 30 Dec 2024 13:18:20
Agree ron mentioned to ed 001 few weeks ago about obrien an he reckons it was thelwell who bought him but dyche didn't want him and still refuses to play him i think tfk would be mad to give dyche any money to spend in January the manager and the dof are clearly not on the same path in regards to recruitment and this needs addressing my opinion i would sack him we have a great chance to stay up i do believe with a different manager and a different philosophy we can but dyche just keeps using the club as excuses yet saturday just showed him 10 players behind the ball lads let the opposition just keep coming at us and we will try an outcounter them and add a bit of dycheball with it Bournemouth next telling you we will let them dictate play woudnt be suprised if we lost.
8.) 30 Dec 2024 13:20:41
I’m not singing Thelwell’s praises btw. I’m just saying that any immediate effect we want to see on the pitch will come from a change in manager.
9.) 30 Dec 2024 16:38:37
I would only query Thelwell if his scouts are being told by him to look at 30 year old plus players. That is not how you build a team.

1.) 03 Dec 2024 15:34:47
What about over 70's.
2.) 03 Dec 2024 17:11:49
I've just uploaded the over 65 prices but basically £480 up to £675.
02 Dec 2024 12:40:40
Just on a separate point what's people's opinions on the pricing for the new stadium. I think they seem fairly reasonable.
1.) 02 Dec 2024 14:41:14
How can they give a price for next season when they don't know what league we will be playing in?
2.) 02 Dec 2024 18:09:59
Maybe Dyche has convinced them everything will be ok.
3.) 02 Dec 2024 19:30:55
My first thought sering them was he's convinced them that it will be championship prices I really excpected them to be higher.
4.) 02 Dec 2024 22:01:32
Didn't think they were getting released until January?
21 Jun 2025 14:57:43
What is don't get with the gana situation is why only 1 year? To me i get with his age there will be a drop off at some point but if we were to give 2 years then next summer look to sell him to either middle east or france then this surely helps us with PSR as well.
03 Jul 2024 20:50:25
Blue nose I may be wrong but I'm sure that the sell on would only be on the profit if as u say we paid 33m and get 50 mil that would be 17 mil profit 30% to lille would be 5.4m so leave us approx 11.6m obviously minus other costs so a little profit hopefully.
30 Jun 2020 13:41:40
Cheers Ed I'd totally forgot about registering the squad.
25 Jun 2020 09:50:13
Cheers Ed appreciate the reply.
{Ed025's Note - no problem james mate..
29 Jul 2019 20:15:40
But surely it's not that bad we should still make a profit on him should we sell him yes its bot ideal as we haven't seen him play for us but if we can sign a player then sell for a profit to help fund other deals I'd say that's not a bad way to go about business since he signed he's been on loan so I'd guess most of his wages have been paid we may have got loan fees and then if we sell for a profit win win.
{Ed002's Note - That is not really how transfers work.}
18 May 2025 07:18:33
I think for me it dosent matter it will allways be BMD. To sum up the luck of relevance to the official name i would like to think my football knowledge is reasonable it was only when looking at similar namin right deals that i found Barcelona had renamed the camp nou back in 2001 to spotify camp nou i had no clue ita allways been camp nou so I don't think the sponsor is that big to the average football fan it has to be about the best deal and isn't worth getting would up by something that is totally insignificant.
04 Jan 2025 19:24:17
Think the gamble with sarri would be could he chain smoke enough to put up with the dross we have.
04 Jan 2025 18:32:15
At present time I'd have gravy tit's back.
30 Dec 2024 09:45:45
100% agree my query is was je sold or is it just a loan? If it's a loan could we potentially recall him fine him for bringing the club into disrepute and then just leave him to rot somewhere?
{Ed025's Note - he would probably need paying James, just let him finish his loan at Marseille (they have an obligation to buy), then let him rot in france mate..
26 Dec 2024 19:18:27
Cheers Ed I just couldn't place him so was trying to be fair to FBS seeing the previous reply and thinking I'd say if I was a forest fan then there's only 2 that I would consider from us which would be pushing it which would be Branthwaite and possibly ndiaye I really think that would be it.
{Ed001's Note - it is why you are where you are. Hopefully that will change under new owners.}
