I am not sorry nor do I think this hasty begause whatever happens now Rafa Benitez won't get us relegated.
I do believe that was 'probable' with him though, and I hope we now move on from this terrible mistake.
I know these players are not world beaters, however they are better off without this outgoing manager,
Everton football club is better than those useless negative tactics too, and we the fans can end the divisiveness that he brought to us.

Catch22 if we go down now, he can claim it wasn't him. Walks away with a massive pay off, rewarded for failure. What is incomprehensible about this mess, is these mega rich owners are not stupid people, they cannot be.

I'm not defending the job Rafa did over the 5 months. but you say the "divisiveness he brought to us". He didn't bring anything - the divisiveness, bitterness and toxicity is all on us the fans. We will never know how much that contributed to the woeful form but either way it makes it the right decision to move him on.
Don't care who we get next, whoever it is there'll be fans that don't want him (admittedly not as many as with Rafa) and the cycle will start again culminating in him being forced out in 12 months or less. Unfortunately everything about the club is rotten and it is all contributing to where we are now. the board, the staff, the players and the fans.

What contributed ToffeeDavey, was starting every game with a lack of intensity, zonal marking which our defense seem unable to understand, and lack of tactical awareness, Together with putting Rondon on the team sheet every week. All of the above is down to RB. It has been well documented how he thrives on causing disruption at every club he goes. (Note to board to do proper homework next time, and not look at a CV and say he'll do)
No the divisiveness was all his, we were just part of the touch paper he put a match to and stood back and watched the flames.

I totally agree re Rondon mate, really bizarre and also with criticism of his tactics. As I clearly stated in my post, I am not defending Rafa performance in the 5 months but there were huge sections of the fanbase gunning for him from day 1 and it created a dismal atmosphere around the football club - they will now all say it was only because of performances but there's no question a lot of anti rafa was to do with his past (not every single fan) .
Many of these spineless players have seen off multiple managers and there are a couple of things in your post that point towards the sort of reasons. "starting the game with s lack of intensity", do you honestly think Rafa requests that of them? "Zonal marking which are defence don't seem to understand". Keane, Godfrey and holgate are on obscene wages, if they are not capable of understanding zonal marking they shouldn't really be professional footballers.

It is not on the fans at all. What divides fans is when a club is badly run, has no direction, does not perform on the pitch and suffers from a complete and utter lack of responsibility and leadership.
All of the above apply to Everton since Moshiri took over. He was the money man we always wanted, and he has contributed to tearing the soul from the club.
Yet he says nothing, does not come out and apologise for the huge mistakes that have been made, does not explain what the plan is, does not speak out in support of his managers when they need it. He will most likely sack Rafa after letting him spend another £30m on players someone else will end up not wanting. Shambles.

TD it's is totally down to the manger to at out how the team for a game, once or twice possibly the players. not every game. If the players you have can't fit a system you change the system until you can change the players. You have to cultivate trust understanding within the team not chaos (re: Digne comments)

Rafa Benitez, looks like a man with point to prove, as in a jockey that is flogging a dead horse hoping it will resurrect itself and get up and win the race.
The horse being his tactics those same tactics that used to be a poor teams resort to gaining a point or two, well this is Everton Football club and these tactics are taking us to a place where we don't want to go even in our worst nightmares.
Please leave Rafa and give us a chance stay in the English top flight football.

The toxicity grows with bad results Pauly, and the flip side of that coin is obvious whether we cruise to victories or grind them out and ride our luck for the next several matches, the anti Rafa's should hold back and wait a bit longer etc. . . however confidence in him longterm is non existent with many of us mate.
