In fairness I did mention not having actually seen replays of the Mane incident below, and agreed that he could quite easily of seen red.
The penalty was 50/ 50 at best and, in lieu of his diving previously in the match, was probably why it wasn’t given.
The review does state, in the title, “view from a red”, do not sure what you were expecting. If you disagree so much though feel free to right your own from a blue perspective. I didn’t think I was overly biased or completely unreasonable in what I said, but I’m always happy to hear other perspectives.

In my defence blue potato the replay of Mane’s face poke was not shown on the broadcast I watched and I didn’t actually see a replay until after I’d written the review - he was very lucky to only get a yellow, it could have, with the right (or wrong) official been a red.
As for Trent’s tackle? I mean it was a little late but hardly malicious, he got a yellow which I think was fair.
I honestly think that the 2nd penalty shout was, at best, 50/ 50, and that with his insistence on diving/ going down softly earlier on made it look more like a dive. I honestly thought he was already looking to go down and, whilst they are given, those penalties always feel somewhat soft to me but, you’re not wrong, they do get given from time to time. If it had gone against Liverpool, and we lost the game, I may of bemoaned it, but I certainly wouldn’t expect my club to go to the PMGOL to complain, it just wasn’t that blatant (unlike the City handball you’s did not get) .
I thought you’s played decently, Gordon looks very good and, if he cuts the diving outbid his game, can and will be a match winner. I also wish you good luck for the run in, I hope you manage to stay up.

How has he wrongly taken flak? He seriously injured a player with an awful, awful challenge and was lucky not to break said players leg completely. He deserves every ounce of criticism.
