Sigurdsson wouldn’t have been in the way if he hadn’t got flattened. That should have been a penalty.
The goal should have stood regardless. If VAR says otherwise, it should have been a penalty previous to the goal.

you can't just blame Williams it's a team game I will have to watch it again but from my seat didn't Schniderlin pull out of a tackle which give them the ball.

Holgate was worse and needs dropping as his confidence either looks lost is over confident. Williams hasn't been too bad lately.
Us conceding goals coincided when Sam started changing the defence every game. A settled back four is what we need again.

Darned right he did Bluey79, it wasn't the first time and wasn't even the first time in this game. He does indeed pass backward or sideways and uniquely has the inability to pass to an unmarked player. I would contend the injury occurred because the lad was covering for yet another Schneiderlin mispass/ loss of possession. Said all that needs to be said about Martina. Williams playing with confidence is a good player but the lack of confidence malaise still permeates throughout the Squad. Tosun and Walcott the most recent acquisitions will be wondering what they have joined.

Anyone else watched McCarthys press conference? It's hilarious how many times he says 'Errrrm'. I was so engrossed in that I've not a clue what he actually said! Worth a watch just for that.

2.) I still read the site every day mate. Just not had much to say. Whenever I have an opinion someone seems to beat me to it. Must be getting slow in my old age.
3.) With Trapattoni leaving the Eire job how about getting his assistant Tardelli in as a coach, he'd be one of the best defensive midfielders of my lifetime.
4.) He's clearly a humble, modest young man and he looked painfully uncomfortable. Erm, I'd put it down to nerves. Just the sort of lad we want representing our great club, the more the better.
Rather lads like him than these nancy boys who wear 'sleeves' and big diamond studs in their ears and drive ridiculous cars like, erm, Kevin Mirallas et al who cry like girls when they're on the receiving end of hard but fair challenges.
But, erm, yea, he did 'erm' a lot.

His uniform is a blue shirt now. Who cares what he wears off the pitch.
Obviously Lukaku is looking great so far. Now IF he continues to impress in this loan spell then I would say we should break the bank to buy him.
Players fall in love with Everton just as much as the fans, so given time, he might want to stay himself.

I really don't see why not mate. It seems the Baines and Pienaar combination has been sussed out of late. As has the Fellaini role. Mixing it up a bit is certainly what is required. We make it too easy for our opponents to prepare for our games. Far too predictable.
