Must admit I'm scared now that Deli and Maupay seem to part of the squad.
Deli maybe worth the gamble but the other guy nah.

Might be wrong but if Ali plays 8 or 9 game's for us we owe spurs £20 mill ? but could loan him out all season ? anyone got any clues?

12 Jun 2023 16:46:41
And the saga continues. Carlo now sueing us for something or another. When will this S? itshow end. How I long for the "good times".

pgp

1.) 12 Jun 2023 17:29:45
He must have heard about the John Stones money.

2.) 12 Jun 2023 17:59:00
And despite a clear out of the board, good times Bill has kept his job. Total circus.

3.) 12 Jun 2023 18:05:31
Carlo the cockroach.

4.) 12 Jun 2023 18:25:17
They haven't paid him what they owed him. It's the same as Martinez and he got paid out.

5.) 12 Jun 2023 19:22:13
Not the same, we sacked Martinez.

6.) 12 Jun 2023 20:33:19
Carlo is due what his contract agreed. If we owe we owe. If not he won’t win his case. Simples!

7.) 12 Jun 2023 20:46:09
It'll be the Milkman next!

8.) 12 Jun 2023 20:52:32
Pighead, would all depend on whether there was anything in his contract that made the payment bill and void if he walked away from us.

The club is run poorly, however you’d have thought they’d have researched this aspect of his contract when he terminated it to go to Real.

9.) 12 Jun 2023 21:08:26
Ed is this the way it works carlo walked out so do we still have to pay out his contract.

{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated to that. They will look to settle.{

10.) 12 Jun 2023 22:26:18
It's exactly the same JB. They were owed money as part of their employment at Everton. Regardless of whether Martinez was sacked, it was money owed.

11.) 12 Jun 2023 22:54:53
It is not the same. You’re wrong. It’s not a wages issue - you’re not entitled to your future wage if you resign. It’s to do with commercial contracts.

12.) 13 Jun 2023 07:01:31
I didn't say it was for wages Jb if you read the comment. He's owed money as part of his employment as was Martinez. As I said its exactly the same.

08 Jun 2023 06:15:19
After watching W Ham win the conference I just thought what might have been. Delighted for Moysie.

pgp

1.) 08 Jun 2023 07:36:29
Many despise the bloke pgp but tell me since he left how have we done?

2.) 08 Jun 2023 08:00:14
Best comment ever on here dfs, every word!

3.) 08 Jun 2023 08:20:23
I'm a bit of a fiorentina fan, but made up for Moyes. I don't understand why people hate him so much. He basically got offered a promotion and more money to leave us, we would all do the same if it was in our line of work. Yes he said some things that maybe in hindsight he shouldn't have said, but we've all done that. And so what if he tried to sign some of our players on the cheap, no one was forcing us to sell them, plus his job would be to sign players as cheap as possible, he done it for Everton when he could, so he was always going to do the same as Utd manager, that was his job. There's no loyalty in football, there's no loyalty in many things in life. He got us in a very sound position financially and in the league, its not his fault we went backwards when he left. He stayed with us for 10 years, he was more than entitled to take a bigger job, he had earned that.

4.) 08 Jun 2023 11:02:52
Think people were bitter because he left, I think we were solid with him, just wish he'd stayed a couple of more seasons. Happy for him and proving the west ham doubters wrong!

5.) 08 Jun 2023 11:33:00
Did great with us but not bothered what he's done since he left. More interested in what we do.

6.) 08 Jun 2023 16:26:21
I have nothing against him but the smart money says he'll be gone by Xmas.
There form has been awful for over a year now and losing Rice will be a big blow. Its going to be a big summer for them but I would expect them to be in the bottom half again.

7.) 08 Jun 2023 22:37:23
He could resign and leave on a high then end up earning a packet managing an international side like Martinez.

I think he’ll stay until he’s pushed.

Well done to him. Shame it wasn’t with us.

Onwards and upwards.

No fear lads, this game is in the bag. Feeling a bit tired now so think I'll hit the sack and set the alarm for 7 pm Sunday.

pgp

1.) 26 May 2023 15:58:55
The game is clearly not in the bag.
Bournemouth are no mugs and regardless that they’re playing for nothing they’ll still be tough to beat.
They’ve beaten us twice already this season.

Really hope our players turn up and put in a winning performance as it’s not a straightforward game.

If either Leeds or Leicester go 1-0 up when we’re still drawing or even losing then the crowd will change and it will become a tense atmosphere - this is the one game we need our players not to crumble!

2.) 26 May 2023 17:01:10
Think there was more than just a hint of sarcasm in that comment.

3.) 26 May 2023 17:25:11
Win the game on Sunday and ifs and butts don’t come into it, simples.

{Ed025's Note - that may be easier said than done mate..

4.) 26 May 2023 17:25:11
Win the game on Sunday and ifs and butts don’t come into it, simples.

5.) 26 May 2023 18:41:24
Belief Ed we can do it mate.

6.) 26 May 2023 19:44:11
I would be tempted to play a back 3 this weekend and try a 3-4-3

This all depends on whether Myko is back or not. It would then allow us to play McNeil further up the pitch and would give us some flexibility on where to play Doucs, be that .

Myko, Gana, Onana, Iwobi
Myko, Gana, Onana, Garner
Myko, Gana, Douc, Iwobi or Garner

Mix of McNeil, Gray, Doucs, Iwobi in the front 3 positions.

Things have certainly been made more difficult with no DCL.

What are peoples thoughts. Been racking my brain all week. Nerves are very much there, as i am sure they are for everyone.

Let's pray Blues.

{Ed025's Note - I’m not looking forward to it at all JMW. Massive day for the club and my nerves are on edge now mate..

7.) 26 May 2023 20:41:26
Have faith in King GB ed.

8.) 26 May 2023 20:51:16
Have belief JMW we can do this mate.

9.) 26 May 2023 20:55:08
Bournemouth levels have dropped off since they got safe. Their form of late has been poor and I would expect a flip flop performance. They aren't going to want to relegate us and have the crowd to put up with.
They also are weak from set pieces so we should be able to get this over the line.
If we go 1 up I think they'll wave the flag and get out of dodge alive.

10.) 26 May 2023 21:23:01
Now is not the time for negativity, we will win tomorrow for sure 100%.

11.) 26 May 2023 21:33:29
I have belief GB, the nerves are just spilling over. I fancied us to get a result at Brighton GB as did yourself and they are twice the side Bournemouth are.

I just think losing DCL stifles us massively and has sapped any confidence out of me mate.

Agree Smit they have definitely fallen off and they have a few of their better players out as well.

Just not sure how many times we can roll the dice and come out alive.

Either way, we will all be screaming us on. It is time for the players to do their part for once isn't it Gents!

12.) 27 May 2023 00:15:41
I go from we are definitely going to win this game to we are obviously going down! Can't call it at all, we are fortunate to be given a get out of jail card this season, one win and we are safe. I've had a niggling feeling for a month or so that Leicester have decent fire power to get them out of their mess, especially in comparison to Leeds and ourselves. If we go down then it is hard to argue that it isn't fully deserved. The board has failed the fans and club for a few seasons now, are we going to succumb to the inevitable? We just need one full game of effort, for every player to be on their game and at it from the first whistle. Question is, have these players got it in them to fight to the death? Jury is out!

13.) 26 May 2023 17:20:20
Do remember we played them under Lampard’s guidance Dan.

I’m not saying it will be a walk-over but we shouldn’t be as fearful. We still need to put it to bed early and go 3-0 up before half-time as GB always predicts….

16 May 2022 10:26:30
I really felt so positive going into yesterdays game and the early goal was fantastic. Then a silly error brought me back to reality, typical. I'm not looking forward to Palace now as we won't get a result at Arsenal.
Just hope that Leeds or Burnley slip up now.

Not so simple. I believe there is a large percentenge sell on clause
We would have to get north of 60 mil for him.

if dcl goes so be it, can't see us getting much for him. sad but in truth there is no fight in him like many others in the squad. reality is this is the worse everton team i've seen and i've been a supporter since 1968.

Don't want to tempt fate but it looks like Lutons bubble has burst. I hope this gives the team more impetus for the remaining games.

Dyche is gambling on a point a game to keep us up in my opinion.

I disagree we are in deep deep doodah. Even if we get points back we are going to get a reduction on the second charge. I think we will end up with 30 points if Dyche continues with this type of football at home. We need to win our home games.
