Tried to sign players my arse this has got Kenwright written all over it. How many times have we seen Kenwright sell are most valuable player and not reinvest. EFC did not appoint Dyche until the last minute and then bid for players they knew they had no chance of signing or bids short of value. Why would they continue to negotiate with someone who did not want to take charge until the summer. All b##locks. Good luck to Dyche but he is up against it with the bandit board.

{Ed025's Note - and where’s the Arteta money.. ?

1.) 01 Feb 2023 19:30:35
not just that…but the only other excuse would be that they couldn't get the players in that dyche wanted yet we went in for all the targets we wanted when lamps was in charge.

2.) 01 Feb 2023 20:00:54
They didn't bid fook all. They enquired, the only upfront cash was £2 mill, the Club are in special measures (Please Mum can I buy this) , 40 mill for Gordon, 38 mill ringfenced = £2 mill for the Sarr insult. Simon Jordan left out the important bits, Thelwell identifies, Moshri writes a cheque but BK does the rubbish negotiating.

3.) 01 Feb 2023 21:42:06
There are no special measures. The PL are happy with EFCs accounting to date.
Until the next accounts are released which will be in the next couple of months no action will be taken.
The P/ s is a 3 year rolling vehicle.
Once the last accounts were released which Evertons were last March any restrictions would have been discussed.

What you have to remember is the following year cannot be preempted by the club or the PL.
Everton have satisfied any losses to the pl.
The year that will be replaced by this year's accounts was the last year 2019, that didn't have any C.V. adjustments. So -111,000
Will be improved by the losses posted in this soon to be released accounts. Well unless they are higher which is doubtful.

Alternatively if EFC thought they would incur penalties because of a shortfall this financial year which impacts the 3 year rolling losses (bearing in mind only they know what that would be) then why would 38 million be ringfenced and 2 million not?
It's just paper nonsense.

Everton will always have money to spend, they will also always post losses every season for the foreseeable. This year's losses which were going to be approx 60-80 million will be closer to 40-50 we can assume.

4.) 01 Feb 2023 22:42:29
In press conferences before he was sacked, Lampard was saying he had money to spend, this was before we sold Gordon. None of us know the whole truth. What we do know is that the board screwed the club again and we now have to rely on the squad and the manager we have in place. Fingers crossed.

5.) 02 Feb 2023 05:42:40
I see people on here and other sites that, in the main, deflect all of the blame to BK. In reality, they are all as culpable as each other, they all need to go. That includes our DoF, what has he actually done this month? His job is to identify and bring players in. He failed.

6.) 02 Feb 2023 09:02:03
I stand corrected smit666. I read a report that our Club were in special measures anf that £38 mill of the Gordon money was not available.

7.) 02 Feb 2023 09:05:40
He identifies, the Manager agrees, the owner makes funds available, seems to fall down at the negotiating table. Moshiri did say that Bill was in charge.

8.) 02 Feb 2023 09:18:45
Smit666 that was extremely good reading. No more conspiracy theories from me. Question: Does the Club owe money to Moshiri or his (guessing) Company. Reason I ask, is I read a report that Leicesters owner (s) have just written off their debt.

9.) 02 Feb 2023 10:08:53
Moshiri has invested around 540million into Everton. This is done through pirchasing Bills shares and loans converted to equity or shares. The last injection of 100mill was 33,333 shares purchased at £3000 per share.
The club has 3rd party debt too. Not entirely sure how much but it is somewhere near 100million or it was a year ago. Expect that to have gone up.
Last years accounts which will be released soon will start to paint a clearer picture of out direction. Player sales and wage bill reduction will start to reduce the overall losses we make. How much? Well that is why this year's accounts will tell us so much. They will show how much we still lose with the lower wage bill, reduced transfer spend and a big player sale. All of which will be the norm moving forward.
The year after will see the Gordon sale, further wage reduction and minimal transfer activity.

FM also said it's us that sack the managers, DFS! Man can't be trusted at all. Sack the lot of them!

Big Dunk is the only option to keep us up and sooner rather than later Lampard wrong man wrong time.

1.) 07 Apr 2022 16:23:07
Big Dunc is even less experienced as a manager and had one good game against Chelsea? .

I don’t get this mentality of “Dunc will bring PASHUN”, how will he do that when the players don’t care? “Oh they will care for Dunc because he will batter them” oh I’m sure he will lol.

2.) 07 Apr 2022 16:51:45
Ye that's true but what's needed right now is gung hoe partisan enthusiasm Lampards attempte to play nice football has not worked and I don't think he can keep us up. Its a desperate situation I just think it is worth a try no guaranties but it would be the same whoever you put there but for me Lampard is not the man.

3.) 07 Apr 2022 21:30:38
And look who was the manager of Chelsea at the time.

04 Apr 2022 18:06:53
DCL looks like he is following Deli Ali to many outside distraction DA yellow rolls royce ect ect DCL looks to be more interested in fashion than football and if he's not careful he end up on the same scrap heap as DA.

1.) 04 Apr 2022 18:43:33
Well hopefully we sell him for a decent wad before that happens.

2.) 04 Apr 2022 18:54:35
Been injured all season. Comes back not fully fit due to pressure on league position and the fact the squad never replaced Lukaku. Gets a tonne of crap from miserable fans because he has underwear that costs more than the benefit cheque some get. Grow up. Nobody cared last season. Our best players are not our problem. Our problem is all the average mercenaries our owners advisors suggested we pay through the nose for.

3.) 04 Apr 2022 19:09:35
Brown shoes agree exactly, that’s where most of the problems started when they sold Lukaku and not bringing in a quality replacement.

4.) 04 Apr 2022 19:09:58
Brownshoes what is with the benefit cheque comment? What a stupid thing to say. You from out of Liverpool are you? We all on benefits if we open our mouths at the match? Scallies? Or are all scousers on the dole? Never thought I'd see a comment like that on here. What an idiot.

5.) 04 Apr 2022 20:29:51
Spot on Pauly. Awful comment that. Unbelievable.

6.) 04 Apr 2022 20:57:51
Absolute scumbag comment. Also shows in his comment he either doesn't watch the games or has zero idea about football. DCL has been diabolical, and using the excuse that he is not fully fit is nonsense - he's been back for weeks and weeks so if he's not fully fit by now he's a disgrace.

7.) 04 Apr 2022 22:05:00
Brownshoes you really are full of the brown stuff so take your face fir a brown one and by the way i am 60 and never claimed benefits in my life and i for one think dcl is a complete fraud the sooner we get shut the better.

8.) 05 Apr 2022 11:05:22
Terrible comment Brownshoes. Why bring dole into it. He's on more money than us working folk too. No need to bring unemployment into it/ or suggest everyone in Liverpool is out of work. I'm from county Durham and we have same unemployment problems as rest of country. You must be loaded are you Brownshoes. You could be our bew training ground sponsor with your wad of cash floating about.

9.) 05 Apr 2022 16:39:14
I'll make a donation Dentie.

I think EFC will be up for sale soon. If they look into Moshiri links with Usmanov it could be the same as Chelsea. With the previous losses it will be difficult to function without Usmanov backing. There is no way back for Usmanov so they won't achieve their goal so a sale seems likely.

thgffest

{Ed025's Note - we dont know how it works to be honest mate, its all guess work and speculation..

1.) 03 Mar 2022 18:39:24
The 200 mill apparently was a gift of shares, when sold all relevant 'legal' tax dues would have been paid. Moshri has done nothing wrong. EFC being up for sale will depend on how p'd off and vindictive Usmanov is and how much hold on Moshri there is. On the other hand Moshri himself may think us not worth all the trouble. A madman has unleashed hell and football is an insignificant blob in comparison.

2.) 03 Mar 2022 18:36:25
True but guess work and speculation makes this site tick its just an opinion but it could get interesting.

3.) 03 Mar 2022 19:30:17
I think Mr Moshiri has shown us all more than once that he is here for the duration DFS, and we are certainly worth the trouble, of that I have no doubt mate.

4.) 03 Mar 2022 22:18:31
True GB but point being, he may not be the boss. UK have hit Usmanov with sanctions now, they have the intelligence while we have guesswork.

5.) 03 Mar 2022 22:52:47
I’d been very surprised if Moshiri put us up for sale. He’s invested too much into the club without getting something back yet. The fella is a billionaire also remember so it is unlikely it is just Usmanov’s money invested.

That is unless any of the Eds know differently….

6.) 03 Mar 2022 23:08:04
Why would he put us up for sale?
Hes not Russian.

19 Apr 2021 10:42:23
THE FA should deduct all the points off these clubs if they confirm the super league and the premiership be decided by the teams still there and if they want to return start at the bottom of league 3 like RANGERS did.
