Apparently there was an Everton fan event earlier tonight at the Hilton.And apparently the big news from the event was Everton plan to build new stadium by 2017. Here's some facts
-Remains the name 'Goodison Park'
-58,000 seater and can be extended.
-In the city boundaries.
-Executive boxes/lounges around the stadium (400 boxes)
-Big singing stand that holds 11,000.
-Built to have the best atmosphere in Europe! Seeing is believing if you ask me

Exactly what we need to move forward, but let's get a deposit ready before the purchase is made. We also need a team to compete in the prem so we don't have a half empty 55k seater stadium

Not heard anymore on this than what I posted above! there is however a "supposed" Power point presentation from this event last night detailing the information above! you can see this video on you tube. I added the link to this last night but it never got posted, but just search on you tube for "new goodison park" and it's the 8th video down on the list! again I don't know how authentic it is i'm just passing on what bits of info I have seen & heard on the net. In theory it's sounds great and probably the best way to get a bigger stadium in the near future. And just a thought with Goodison being quite old would there be any problems with listed buildings ect

If we move anywhere it will most likely be the Bestway wholesale site, near Scotland road and the Kingsway tunnel. It's also called 'the loop'. Research it, it's already been suggested in the past for Everton's new stadium as the alternative to the original 'Kirkby project'.
