Apparently we are talking to Dyche ☹️.

Hopefully not, but if true, he is only one of a few managers who can get a tune out of a broken fiddle. Probably just paper talk.

From inside the club not the papers.

Oh that will be Doris the cleaner stirring it.

Fraid not.

I would hope the board are at least looking at options. Hard to see past us losing to City, and if we don’t beat Brighton, the fans will call loudly for a change. We can discuss board level change, but we all know it’ll be the manager. Dyche is available and would back himself to keep us up. People will mention Poch - he won’t come.

Apart from Dyche, who else would potentially come (and that’s IF Dyche would be interested! )

{Ed025's Note - Dyche would bite your arm off to come BR, i feel sorry for frank because i believe at a better club he could become a very good manager, unfortunately this is the wrong club at the wrong time mate, our club is a toxic mismanaged cesspit and i doubt that even klopp or pep could turn it around, for me Dyche could be our only hope and it probably wont be pretty but sometimes needs must, i dont enjoy saying this but like most supporters i have finally reached the end of my tether..

I don't see how dyche is an improvement on lampard.

8.) 27 Dec 2022

The players are total frauds and should be ashamed of themselves.

9.) 27 Dec 2022
27 Dec 2022 11:48:45
It’s not necessarily a case of ‘better’, but a change in manager and approach can give the squad a boost and they all looked flat yesterday. We can go round and round, Frank’s a nice guy, he’s saved us once etc, but results speak for themselves. If nothing changes we’re heading down. Many won’t like it, but Dyche makes sense in many ways. Tuchel, Low, Zidane, Poch, Enrique all available - but none would come so we have to focus on what’s realistic for now.

The “players” get paid regardless of what they do. You can’t sack them because they have a contract. And strangely there is always another club that will take them on. I mean look at what we have bought recently.
The elite players want to win trophies. The rest just want to pick up their money and live their comfy lifestyles.
Let’s face it there are about six decent teams in the Prem, and the rest are bang average and there to make them look good. Aka City next week.

Problem is Lampard is bringing players in to play his style, slowly replacing players bought in under other regimes which play other styles, if we change managers again we’ll just start buying players to play his style and further an incompatible mess…. and so continue the cycle. We created 2-3 good chances yesterday and a more clinical player up top, we just need someone who can finish.

We don't need a new manager. We need new forwards.

Totally agree with Ed 025 on this! I'm ashamed to say that I've got to the "not bothered" stage. The whole Premier League is a sham with most teams just making up numbers. That doesn't excuse the state of our club though. I will always be Everton, but deary me, they're not making it easy!

{Ed025's Note - I have fallen out of love with football Tezza and especially with Everton I’m afraid. I have served a 64 year sentence and the grief they give me is getting too much mate. I still love the club as it’s in my blood but I have run out of excuses and will no longer defend them..

coudnt agree more ed i went to the match yesterday and i coudnt name one good player if am honest gordon was getting knocked off the ball to easily mcneil was nowhere maupay 15 mil one goal he looks lost onana yes he's young but i expect him more on the ball and making the final 3rd pass gana again can't pass brilliant at tackling iwobi been brilliant but passing yesterday was woefull i look at our team not one player who wants to get on the ball and try make something happen its just sideway passing no taking on their players really frustating i don't want frank sacked but i can see it coming i honestly think we are in real danger of going down.

{Ed025's Note - I think your spot on Andy mate and share all of your frustrations mate..

I don't want to see Frank leave and have to start again with the style / players a new manager may want. I think Frank should at least get past the transfer window, see if he can get a half decent forward or 2, and roll with it!

16.) 27 Dec 2022
27 Dec 2022 16:39:37
TomTom hand on heart do you think a decent forward will improve our results?

I personally don’t, we could have Haaland up top and we’d still be as bad as there’s absolutely no service to the forward, our wingers don’t or can’t cross, the midfield play sideways or backwards passes rather than forward balls.

Our most direct player currently is Pickford! That says a lot for our team.

17.) 27 Dec 2022
27 Dec 2022 17:47:00
Hand on heart no but I don't think a new manager is the option either hand on heart!

We don't need a change of manager, we need a change of ownership. Get rid of Moshiri and his advisors and get rid of Kenwright. It will not happen of course, we will start another merry go round of management change and get rid of some of the useless overpaid players to be replaced with more useless overpaid players.
The definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results".
While I'm at it, what sort of scouting team do we have, if any? Just look at Newcastle, spent less than us with much better results, how can they identify good players and we can't? I know Eddie Howe is doing a good job but it can't be just up to him to identify players.

19.) 28 Dec 2022
28 Dec 2022 02:47:02
Do you think Dyche had a better team all the times he kept Burnley up?
Not a chance. He had them drilled and working hard.
Unfortunately that is what we need. Most thought Rafa could do that but he couldn't. It's time to face the music and get him in.
Frank is just not experienced enough to deal with what we are.

People always say we wouldn't score with Haaland up front because we don't make chances but 4 good chances were missed against wolves. Haaland scores all of them. We win the game.

GD, I genuinely can't believe you have to ask the question "TomTom hand on heart do you think a decent forward will improve our results? " Anyone who answers that question with a no is f'in mental.
