There's a lot of for and against how RM has conducted himself and people asking each other what managerial exp do they have to make statements, etc etc
I would like to state that his first words were apparently " I will get you champions league football" and we are led to believe that this convinced Bill he was the right man for the job.
He may be a good man, a courteous and respectful man, a dignified and polite man, etc but in my opinion to start a job in football with such a magnanimous statement can only lead to this shambolic relationship between club and fans, if not delivered promptly.
The stats say we are further away rather than closer.
Next season could be the best or it could be our worst nightmare.
The club, fans, management and players should ALL understand each other's feelings and outbursts due to the reasons stated above.
Communication is key to any problem solving and without it we allow contempt and frustration to run wild.
I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion and should be allowed to air it without prejudice.
We all love the club and we all want to avoid disaster but at the same time we must stand together in the best interests of the club.
The board need to talk openly and honestly with fans regarding RM as it is the fans who produce revenue.
We entrust the board to run our club, but I honestly believe that our relationship with them has a mentality of " Us and them" and that can only harm our great club.
Just my honest opinion.

{Ed002's Note - The board are not accountable to the fans. The board are accountable to the shareholders. It is not your club - it is the shareholder's club. The revenue comes primarily from elsewhere - less than 15% comes through the gate at Everton and even less than that arrives commercially - which is why the club is attractive to Mr Moshiri. As of next season the gate income will reduce (as a percentate) further - to behaps only 10% or revenue. You are supporters - a bunch of which have been trying to be as disruptive as possible. This will do more harm than good in terms of communication.

You may wish to look at things in context before making demands of the board. The board would have been looking to more to communicate - now they will be looking at communicating much more carefully.}

Sorry mate but there's NO club without fans.

{Ed002's Note - Who said there was?}

2.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 16:32:24
You seem to think the board will continue to run a club based on revenue without the fans? Therefore we as "fans" have no right to voice our opinions due to the fact we are not shareholders?
How about the players that voice their opinions?
How about we end up with a situation like Villa?
A board that took your stance of " we owe nothing to the fans" and an owner who obviously waited for the revenue from tv and player sales.
Do you think we as mere " Fans" should sit back and watch the same happen to our club?
How can't you empathise with us?
My argument is valid ed and to keep harping on about the board owing us nothing is contemptible!
We started the club and we are the club!
When players leave and we get relegated then the revenue from tv faulters as does the revenue from being a " Premier league brand" name
Disgusting to dismiss the "Fans" like you have!

{Ed002's Note - No, I said nothing of the sort. Nor did I say the fans should not be able to voice their opinions - but what has been going on recently has been some plot by a septic portion of the fans to deliberately damage the club as much as they can.

An example was the plan to disrupt the weekend game by throwing tennis balls on the pitch. Fortunately it didn't happen - or perhaps Everton fans have no balls? It is nearly the end of the season when the club will look to start planning on the future. They are already working on some changes to the scouting process. There will also be work going on in the background regarding the stadium. There will be commercial work goining on but not whilst the fans are trying to get as much bad publicity for the club as they can.

There is new investment coming this summer and the club will be taking advice over the footballing side, as they are already doing with the scouting side. The fans are impatient and want everything now, righ now. That isn't sensible and it isn't possible. This is a business, it needs to be planned and managed.

Your talk of relegation of the team is pitiful. You are clearly not prepared to give a chance to the new investors - the new owners who are to come, the plans the club have nor anything else. That is simply because you don't understand the business and what is going on. Rather than wait and see you want it damaged as much as possible.}

Are you for real?
I am emphasising the worst case scenario that is influencing the behaviour of the "sceptic" fans
If we were privy to any of these "plans" then maybe the "sceptic" fans would have a shred of clarity!
Fans are impatient?!
Are you for real? '
Fans are worried!
3 yrs after " I'll get you into champions league" is not impatient ed
Ask Aston Villa fans if they feel they should've protested earlier!
People or "sceptic" fans are nothing more than worried ed and you should acknowledge this rather than snipe at it!
Football is a results business isn't it?
And as for investment from Mr Moshiri, I believe the " fans " should look closer at the amounts being bandied around for transfers compared to the amounts received from TV revenues!
NO businessman worth his salt enters into a deal that runs at a loss and AS A BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF I would love to see the figures that Mr Moshiri was presented with!

{Ed002's Note - You don't seem to grasp what will naturally occur at teh end of tehs eason. Aston Villa is of no relevance whatsoever. The amounts of money that are being "bandied about" were generated by someone other than Mr Moshiri or the club - so don't blame them for that either. As to the "figures that Mr Moshiri was presented with", they were accounts which were reviewed on his behalf with a report being produced. No doubt there were projections presented in private meetings but they will reflect easily confirmable numbers. Quite what he has done in respect of the issue that was found by John Jay Moores and Charles Noell, I don't know. But the fans continue to try and disrupt whilst the club wants to plan.

Quite frankly, if I were them I would not say anything at all to the fans until after a number of decisions have been made.~

02 May 2016 17:04:56
So ed u feel more new owners will buy into the club.

{Ed002's Note - The near term future will see the run down of BK over the next year or so and then the sale of his shares to Farhad Moshiri or Farhad Moshiri in partnership with another/others.}

5.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 17:26:24
I didn't think ed02 would post my reply as it contained facts about revenue that the fans should concentrate on
Are you on the board ed02?

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure now why you are starting to lie about the posts. You have not had any posts deleted and I have explained the revenue streams - and how little comes through the gate.

Right now the through the gate revenue (from the fans) is just over 14%. The commercial revenue is a little over 8% from sponsorship and advertising, and 12% from other commercial activities. The 65% balance is from broadcast income. The growth areas are broadcast income and sponsorship. The area which will provide a lesser percentage of the revenue is the through the gate money from the supporters. Like it or not, this is how it is.}

6.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 17:35:08
As "The people's club" I think that's a massive contradiction isn't it?

{Ed002's Note - Only for the septic idiots who are unable to give any chance to the club to plan the way forward sensibly and then share that plan with the fans. Right at the end of the season and they want to really, really disrupt teh club they supposedly support.}

7.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 17:39:12
To be fair Ed002 (I will not be so presumptive as to call you mate - no offence) you do come across as slightly ascerbic. Not asking you to be cuddly or to tickle our tummies or anything. Pablo Ed002 said Fans were septic not sceptic, there is a world of difference. He is right as it happens some of the fans were behaving in a septic manner. As an aside I note that NSNO is reporting that Roberto will leave the Club after the Norwich game, maybe true maybe not but if true then doesn't that tie in with the more measured view the Board are taking on the Clubs behalf.

8.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 17:47:30
My god Ed002 it's like someone is finally speaking some bloody sense.

You are right on every level. I hope the new owners and potential investors have more patience and steel about them as some of our protesting fans. I do fear that the more bad publicity they make the more we will see a change of direction and a reluctance to make this a reality.

What difference is it going to be if he is sacked now or the end of the season? None.

What difference can the hostility and protesting have on new investment? A massive amount.

The club know our feelings. They don't need to be reminded during our games. We need to wait and sit on our hands until there is news to tell but whatever the outcome we need to get behind our club, owners, players and remind them what our fans should be about. Supporting the team.

I'll get the usual protestors now going about how they have the right to do this and that but due to the lack of braincells they don't realise the harm they are doing. The idiots who decided to have a go at Moshiri on the train, the ones cornering Kenwright, the idiots in the car with Baines, the morons wasting money on flying banners, the ones harassing Stones in the service station and the list goes on, it's YOU, You bloody idiots that will take this club backward, give us a bad reputation, make players want to leave, cause poor relations with the club and build a wall of secrecy.

Have patience and wait for the club to makes it decisions and you never know we might just get what we all want. A start to something successful and long lasting that when we are all old men (okay older men) our kids and grandkids still see an Everton team winning trophies.

02 May 2016 17:52:27
It took so long for the original reply so please accept my apologies
I still think maybe you are an outlet for the board? Based purely on reading between the lines and gauging an overall feeling from your response
You seem very "Board orientated" and seem to have an obvious leaning towards the negative aspects ( or inevitable) of EFC fans
Again, just, my opinion x.

10.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 18:17:29
I have said earlier I firmly believe we all have a right to air our opinions.
Septic and sceptic was prob a predictive txt matter
Ok let's get to basics here.
I ain't anti anything re EFC but I have an opinion
I believe I have raised valid points and I will continue to raise them until a valid answer ( rather than opinion ) is returned. Just like me to you!
EFC is a football club, born and raised in a working class city. The supporters are passionate and loyal.
Simple fact here people, if there is unrest then it needs to be addressed by COMMUNICATION from top to bottom!
Or we have this sort of "Us and Them" debate.
Myself, I have watched us win titles and cups ( inc European) and I believe I have made a valid point.
Too many people believe the "We are now a business" stance from the likes of ed02!
Let me tell you something, WE are a football club! Conceived and nurtured by people who are from this city!
Don't be too quick to jump on the back of this business shit because at the heart of the matter is people!
People who are born into this club
So **** you if you wanna start repeating board statements or "A business" opinion to me because as far as I'm concerned "People's Club" was a ****ing PR exercise!

{Ed002's Note - (a) No, I meant septic. (b) The club was born and raised in a working class city as you say, but football has changes, the world has changed. Liverpool's humble working class roots cannot be taken away from the city but the city has changed considerably - it has moved with the times. Long gone are the days of the cloth-capped, hobnailed-booted, docker making his way, rattle in hand, to cheer on his team at Goodison on a Saturday afternoon. As Liverpool changes the demographic of teh fan base will change. As new money arrives in the city so the rate of change for the clubs will need to accelerate to adapt. Like it or not, these changes have a tiered impact across the English game. In central London you have far more transient residents than elsewhere, so the demographics of the likes of the prawn sandwich laden Chelsea change regularly – people come and go, but they have the disposable income to go to games. Next year they will be working in Hong Kong and others will be taking their place. Without going too far from central London there is a lesser impact on other London clubs that draw their fans from suburbia and the home counties (Hertfordshire in the case of Arsenal and Spurs for example). The same is true for clubs from areas of London with a more stable population (Millwall and Charlton are good examples). Once you move out to the larger regional cities like Liverpool and Manchester there is, as I am sure you see everyday, new money coming in and that has a knock on effect on the local community, the cost of tickets to games etc.. Liverpool are a very big draw and whilst the club will be doing better during the times of new money it will be to some extent at the expense of the locals. Everton will also be there - that is why Mr Moshiri has invested in shares and why others will do the same. If the club doesn't change it will stagnate - and nobody wants that. (c) Communication is important, but I don't see why the club should communicate whilst under threat from the twisted ugly vein-popping faces pushed on to the windows whilst screaming abuse. The communication will come when there is something to say. That will be at the end of the seaon after the board has a chance to formulate and outline position. And perhaps toward the end of the close season the club will have something to say about direction. In the interim, it will be about ins and outs - you know, Lukaku and Stones leaving and Joey barton arriving as player-manager. (d) Everton is a business. I am surprised you haven't grasped that. It would not survive being anything else - remember, through the gate income accounts for less than 15% of revenue - the other 85% required to keep everything ticking over comes from the business side. This seems to be something you just can't see at all - the football club cannot survive without the business. Not at all, not a chance. Unless you want to be playing Tranmere twice a season with local lads in the side? Step back 100 years?}

Tired of people from ****ing southport spouting shit as well on this site!
Support ya own ****ing teams!

{Ed002's Note - You clearly have many, many issues that need to be dealt with. Perhaps this is why there is a reluctance to communicate with you. You do seem to come across as one of those screaming ugly vein-popping faces at the window.}

Haa it's called FRUSTRATION and being "someone" that has lived on 4 continents and also had business interests in your beloved Manchester and London, I STILL say this club should be run by our "hobnailed roots" and maybe we wouldn't be paying shite over 50k a week to produce nothing short of shite!
Yes I've lost the plot right now because you are intent on insinuating that I am some pleb who shouts working class rather than adjusts to the times you moron
Of course I see the club and times as progressed from the 1800s BUT I fail to see the roots of the club stay true to the reasons our club was born and became successful
I have issues? Yes regarding the mismanagement of our club and the "food in bowl" opinions of people like you yes I do!
You made a comment about tennis balls? If you had any affiliation to the fans you would have known it was simply to gauge the opinions of the fans as to wether they were prepared to demonstrate!
I am certain you are connected to the board and your arguments do not contain one shred of apathy!
I ask again why are you on a rumour site when all you do os seem to give credence to a board that had the opinions of "septic" fans as irrelevant?!

{Ed002's Note - (1) I am not sure quite how relevant it is to us how many continents you have lived on. (2) I don't have a "beloved" Manchester nor do I understand why you think I should ahve. (3) I am not insuating that you are some pleb, you are doing a great job of making yourself look foolish without any help from me. (4) I am surprised you have any affiliation with the fans given you have been living on four continents and setting up businesses in London and Manchester - you probably need directions back to Liverpool. (5) Have you considered that I might not be a puppet of the board, but I might be their puppet master? (6) The reason I am on a "rumour site" is to share some knowledge about transfer rumours, and I am happy to answer sensible questions. I can also help out a little explaining more detail about how clubs are run and what is going on at many of the clubs throughout Europe. What does baffle me is why someone like you, jet setter with businesses in all of the major hubs, would feel so aggrieved about the club not wishing to share any information with the septic part of the fanbase as they are under a constant threat from said fans? You don't really get any of this do you, the business, the club, the future. I find it rather sad.}

14.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 19:06:33
Am i not allowed to support Everton because i'm not from Liverpool? Been fun while it lasted, then. Ciao!

{Ed025's Note - that is certainly not the case hugo, we have supporters from all over the globe mate, we have a fair share of posters from ireland and wales who are regular and valued posters as well so to say you have to come from the city to support your club is ridiculous in the extreme, that may well be the view of pablo but certainly not me or most on here i believe, why you would let one persons view which is very shallow deprive you of airing your views and discussing your team on here is beyond me fella..

15.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 19:40:03
I'm 41 and I am from club moor
I have, in my lifetime, lived briefly on 4 continents
I couldn't care less if, as you say, no one what's to communicate with me. Instead, I see it as no one wants to divulge.
All I see is sycophants who rather than have enough self awareness to propose their own views/ arguments
I am a true evertonian my friend, but I feel, you have some pre meditated agenda that is not favourable to the fanbase.
I express my views on here with conviction and without regret

This club has been run by money grabbing "businessmen" for too long.
You can fool some of the people, some of the time.
Most of the people, most of the time, but never all of the peolpe all of the time! "

{Ed025's Note - pablo you need to calm down mate, i get that your passionate and a lot of your posts have been of a very high quality but your language is getting beyond the pail and we have young readers on here so you need to tone it down, i have lived in liverpool all my life but dont think for one minute that only people from this city should support everton, that is very shallow of you as is your views on people from southport..

16.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 20:00:54
I was only joking there, Ed! Very difficult to get sarcasm over on the internet, and i wasnt having a dig at anyone there, Pablo included. Out of curiousity, is that a feeling that's around a lot of clubs, that you should only support them if you're within a certain radius?

Im from Wales myself, and a lot of scousers moved here way back when, when the mines were in full swing, so there's a very strong Liverpool/ Everton following around here still.

{Ed025's Note - people have differing views on it hugo but if that were the case then liverpool would have to move anfield to norway :) football is a global game and for me does not matter one jot where you are from mate..

17.) 02 May 2016
02 May 2016 22:17:41
Hugo, it doesn't matter where you're from my friend, if you're a blue you're a blue. I was born on Everton Brow and grew up in Everton all my chilhood, but so what, it doesn't make me love our club anymore than you. In fact, respect to you for having the sense to support a proper club, all the best.
