Lookman is under contract for 3/ 4 years, if he had turned out to be a lemon, he would still have expected the club to honour his contract, and continue to pay him.
So why does he seem to expect to walk away, givern his loan went well. Compeat for a first team place, or rot in the reserves for the next 4 years, that should be the choice he's givern.

And kiss goodbye to the prospect of signing anyone young and half decent with a reputation of treating players under contract so petulantly.

It’s counter productive to act that way (although I fully understand the frustration) . If it’s not working out, find a way that suit both party’s and move on.

If he’s right for the club the new management team will find a way to keep him for sure.

I'm just delighted the young lad wants to play. A lot more than could be said for certain players last season at the club.

Don't naively put words into his mouth.
He's at pre season. I think if he's smart he'll know the project and know that he will have a fair chance.
Sure a proper finished LW is needed. Bolasie must be shot if not sold.
And besides, Lookman can play across the front so he will be a very worthy game changer.

With all the nonsense written these days by bloggers, I'd honestly ignore making silly comments in future. You know nothing, nada sweet FA. So don't fall for it. When it's announced, we will know. No iron mike said this, I think that blah blah blah. You don't have a clue.

WOOD1425 I think you need to take what the media are saying about Lookman with a pinch of salt. As mentioned he has returned to pre-season and I expect he will be happy if the management consider him worthy of a place in the team. If not like most he will consider his options. Whether he is under contract is pretty irrelevant as it would make more sense to sell him if he is not required as we would get a substantial return on our investment.
