Rafa wasn’t or wouldn’t of been my choice as a manager of Everton football club but the powers that be have chosen him to lead our club for the next three years.

We’ve got to accept that to move forward by backing the team as always and backing Rafa. Let’s be straight here Rafa can’t be skint so he’s not doing it for the money I don’t think.

You’ve got to admire him he must have skin like a rhino he’s not bothered about taking the job knowing that he was a hero on the red side and no doubt a lot of them now have turned against him to taking the Everton job knowing some fans are not happy about his appointment.

Imagine if he actually wins us a trophy after 26yrs of not even a sniff of winning one now that would make him a hero in blue and really grind the reds gears.

Get behind him let’s see how it pans out. Dragged in to long now least we can now start planning for next season.

Yes, that’s the best way Rafa can answer his critics is on the pitch and win something.

If he doesn't win the first 5 matches of the season then the fans will be baying for blood. If he loses 3 or more in the first 10, then the fans will turn to a lynch mob. Sad but true!

100%. I'm the same. Didn't want him but he's our manager now and I'll back him all the way.

I fear though most will be waiting to have a go. Also think the steward allocation may be increased next season.

Let's see what the windows brings us.

There will be a minority that will only give him 5 games and a few that will boo once he has lost a couple in a row, but they will be the minority and the majority will support him so stop worrying.

Who ever was going to be manager, don’t win in first 5 games fans will be on their back.
