So sad to hear of Bill's passing. For me, he was just another blue that loved my club. I had the good fortune to speak to him on a couple of occasions and it was no different to speaking to any of you. I even sat behind him a couple of times and he clapped and cheered like those in the Gwlady.

From my point of view he put a heart back in the club and saved it from extinction. I feel so sorry that he didn't have the chance to see us one last time. No-one is ever perfect and no-one ever gets it all right. Just glad he gave a damn when no-one else did.

Rest in Peace Bill.

Agree. RIP Bill.

{Ed025's Note - yeah very sad news, top Evertonian ray and even though his reign as chairman was tainted somewhat in recent years he was still one of us and gave his all for the club, RIP Bill..

Well said! Unfortunately he got tarred with the same brush as Moshiri. He didn't deserve that!
RIP Bill.
