Ed, I see Lukaku himself has now come out this afternoon and said he wants to be playing champions league football next season, so it does look like he's going - how much do you realistically see us getting for him monetary amounts and who should we be looking at to replace him with?

{Ed002's Note - Tarashaj will be arriving but I expect Everton will open the folder with the scouting notes in and look again at the likes of Basel's Breel Embolo and Kieta Balde Diao as forwards.

I also think they will look to add an attacking midfield player who can also play as a winger - Gokhan Tore (who hasn't signed for West Ham but might well do) and Rafa Silva were two good options looked at earlier in the year. Again I would not rule out Everton looking again at Empoli's Riccardo Saponara.}

Yarmalenko in midfield.

Would love embolo, but we would need another strike option. Yes, yarmalenko would be ideal for us, the question is would we be ideal for yarmalenko? I think younger options as targets is a good idea as we can offer them a good platform to perform, but our league position and lack of cl possibly europe at all hinders us massively in more mature talent that would improve our sqaud. Plus the manager, has a big effect on possible arrivals. Lukaku staying would have had a big effect for us in my opinion. Being able to afford and able to attract are different things. Not saying we won't vet ideal transfers just saying there are still restraints.

{Ed002's Note - Yarmolenko has been a pain in the neck for the past 18 months - clubs have been moving on from their interest and Everton may well have done the same.}

Ed. Wouldn't mind us going for breel embolo he looks more like a striker than kieta balde diao which he looks like a winger/ striker but he is very talented and does play in a much stronger league but embolo for me he has huge potential ed do u know if we have ever shown any interest in Spanish forward inaki williams I hear he has a 15million release clause in his contract that run till summer 2017 as for attacking midfielder it would have to be for me rafa silva he is class or saponara think the Turkish lad will go to west ham finally ed what position dose the Swiss lad play is he a striker or does he play behind the striker if we go for embolo already signing Swiss lad might make us more appealing to him joining us.

{Ed002's Note - You need to pit aside "release clauses" but Athletic Bilbao are aware of interst in Iñaki Williams following an approach by Galatasaray and scouts from Manchester City, Juventus, Valencia, Arsenal and Everton attending matches to watch him this season. They have made it clear that they do not wish to sell and have extended his contract - but they expect a bid from Manchester City in the summer.

Braga's Rafa Silva has been of interested to Benfica, Everton, Southampton, Wolfsburg and Schalke for a number of months. West Ham, Real Betis, Bayer Leverkusen, Marseille and Spurs have had him watched but to the best of my knowledge not enquired further at this time. Notably, Barcelona and Manchester United have watched in numerous games this season.

Empoli's Riccardo Saponara continues to be of interest to both Everton and Juventus who have been told they will not listen to offers before the summer. Previous interest of Norwich has waned. Arsenal may revive previous interest.

Basel's Breel Embolo remains a target of Arsenal, Borussia Moenchengladbach, Spurs, Inter, Juventus, Red Bull Leipzig and West Ham with Basel aware of interest from all of these clubs in addition to Wolfsburg who have discussed a transfer with the club. Inter will push to agree a summer move as they don't have the money for a January transfer unless they can offload Icardi. Barcelona, Everton, Real Madrid, Southampton, Liverpool and Leicester have also had the player watched.}
