Ed any news on the walton park site if we get a new ground it should be called the kendal stadium after the late and great man, also any news on incomming players sick of hearing bout players leaving some good news would be good for a change.

Tbone61efc

{Ed025's Note - its all quiet on the everton front im afraid Tbone, work is being done behind the scenes mate but im not privvy to that information at this time..

1.) 24 Mar 2016 20:51:49
If and when we get a new stadium they will sell the naming rights. But it would be nice to have a stand named after the great man.

2.) 24 Mar 2016 23:14:05
Absolutely.

A stadium close to the Juventus design.
Designed specifically to create an intimidating atmosphere.

Steep sides to increase noise. crowd close to pitch.
Wonderful.

And has to near city centre or Riverside.

3.) 24 Mar 2016 23:42:57
Or how about a road leading to it called Kendall way!

4.) 25 Mar 2016 01:04:29
Or Howard's Way, hang on where've I heard that before?

5.) 25 Mar 2016 08:04:21
Lol Woburn that's why I avoided that ☺️.

6.) 25 Mar 2016 08:34:44
Or Roberto's way, it would take you around the stadium, back to Walton then down a cul de sac.

7.) 25 Mar 2016 12:37:19
Roberto's way would be quite hilly with lots of ups and downs among the way!

8.) 25 Mar 2016 16:36:34
Hahahahhaha.

Heard a rumour today off a mate whos dad who works at goodison he say martinez will be sacked end of this season mr moshiri as put plans in motion to replace him hope its deboar anyone got any idea if its true coyb.

Tbone61efc

1.) 24 Mar 2016 10:58:27
If your mates dad knows then Martinez knows all the players know Kenwright knows all the staff at Goodison and Finch Farm know.

All the U21 U18 know.

Then all the journalists will know

How come we haven't heard anything?

2.) 24 Mar 2016 13:22:51
I doubt this very much it is probably guesswork, I would guess that the only person Moshiri has spoken to is Kenwright, however I am sure a lot of the players want Martinez out especially the defenders. Being a defender at Everton must be very frushtrating.

3.) 25 Mar 2016 08:15:02
Another made up story. Moshiri is used to keeping things quiet like takeover etc why would he try to unsettle players before the cup games. New manager normally means existing players arw moved on.

08 Mar 2016 19:59:33
Just a thought if lakaku goes back to chelski for 56mil and stones to were ever for 45mil that's 101mil would that money be put back in to the team aswell as the 100mil already we've already heard about or will our new invester take it that's half of what he's put in.

Tbone61efc

1.) 08 Mar 2016 20:13:30
If we were to raise that in sales I would be happy with that money going towards transfers and then Moshiri's cash going towards the stadium (either redevelopment or new ground) .

{Ed025's Note - sounds good to me PT..

Guess were safe now ed 41 points might just be enough, talkin to my work mates yesterday they said I was mad for wantin efc to lose at home to southampton and wantin us to lose in the cup semi but the way I feel at mo rm as total lost the plot this not what we pay our hard earned money for please plz please plz mr moshri go all out for the special one its what we need or another top manager who will atract top players, players who want to play for the club and don't want to leave because of leaque possition time to rebuild with quality not middle class build the defence round stones and mori midfield round besic an macarfy and if rom goes lol replace him with a world class striker not bony.

Tbone61efc

1.) 17 Apr 2016 11:27:49
Agree with your post about building around Stones, Mori and Besic Tbone, but not fully about Mourinho. If there was a choice between Stones or Lukaku leaving or staying, my preference would be to keep Stones most definitely.
With the right coaching Stones will be top class. I don't play football so my judgement will not be the same as others on players.

Still say deboar for the blues great manager and will take us were we need to be.

1.) 11 Apr 2016 23:25:20
Finally someone with a bit of ambition.

2.) 12 Apr 2016 00:30:31
Don't think many would disagree he would be a good appointment. You don't have to want a big name as manager to have ambition. Same as making 'marque' signings doesn't automatically bring success.

Had Utd 'ambition' by appointing LVG? Certainly doesn't look like that at the moment. Along with spending a third of 1 billion pound. They are no better off. Looks like Europa league for them this season after all that money and being ambitious in appointing a top manager in LVG. Even the Europa is not guaranteed for them.

Were Tottenham and Leicester ambitious by appointing there 2 managers? They are the ones reaping the benefits of their managers this season. Not many would of said either clubs were ambitious with their appointments when their new managers took over.

3.) 12 Apr 2016 12:57:28
Yes they were ambitious. One team got rid of Nigel Pearson and chose someone who had had success.

The other chose someone who had showed real genuine promise not just here but also abroad.

They are now 1st and 2nd in the league.

Some on here keep harping on about Howe who has not had one full season in the EPL. One person also said he was a genius because of keeping them in the EPL when they are no different to Tranmere Rovers!

It's amazing how many Evertonians have developed a small club attitude with a serious lack of ambition. Moyes, Howe and the like.

Maybe we need to change our moto or remind those that are not sure what it means.

4.) 12 Apr 2016 23:45:55
Right BlueJohnsUns, what manager and what signings will make us ambitious all of a sudden.

Hate reading posts giving out about supporters having a 'small club' mentality. Yes we have a rich history and I'm very proud of everything to do with Everton.

At the same time I don't think we can turn our noses up at the majority of clubs and say we're better than all of you. Its over 20 years since we won a trophy. How big of a club do you think we are?

As I said I'm proud of everything at Everton so don't say I'm knocking the club just pointing out 20 years without winning anything and you say we are a massive club.

If Man Utd, City, Cheslsea or Arsenal supporters seen that comment they would wet themselves laughing.

Hi ed I put a post on but its not been printed any reason why pal no swear words just how I feel bout what's going on at mo.

1.) 08 Apr 2016 19:30:07
Ok cheers if you had a choice bout efc what would u do bout a manager and players.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of Everton making any efforts at this time to look for a new manager. I suspect that there will be discussions at the end of the season and the club will consider what options it has. Those discussions may well include Roberto Martinez. If there were to be a change I would think that David Moyes would be considered. Much will also depend on who is available and I suspect Premier League knowledge would eb a big plus point. I cannot see Benitez being interested and if Newcastle drop down there are two jobs waiting for him elsewhere. Pellegrini's destination is not confirmed but my ex wife has suggested Zenit will be looking to make him an offer during April and Valencia is another possibility. There remains a chance that Mancini will be available. As a wildcard Jorge Sampaoli or even one of the up and coming managers from Europe might be worth considering. I have mentioned a bunch before and the search section will give you some names to think about. I think Gary Neville might be interested but I am far from convinced he would be a good choice.

As for the players I expect that Stones will exit the club with Lukaku.

Overall, what I suspect will happen is that external help will come in to look at where the entire business is (not just the footballing side) and where it needs to get to. In order to achieve where it needs to get to there needs to be a sensible plan (stadium, academy, involvement of the community and the local authorities, football side, commercial side etc.). From a commercial perspective there will be a big boost next season with the additional media money, and a good chunk of that will be available early to encourage summer spending. Also on the footballing side Everton will look to inform UEFA of new investment (this has to be done by December 31) which will give a short-term buffer against FFP for the 2017/18 season. I would also suspect that the plan will include the run down of BK over the next year or so and then the sale of his shares to Farhad Moshiri or Farhad Moshiri in partnership with another/others. Critically, there needs to be a plan and not knee jerk reaction.}

2.) 08 Apr 2016 20:09:42
Good info ed002, just one thing though. Do you really expect Moyes to be considered and, if so, is this something you have heard or just an assumption? Most fans want rid of Roberto but not too sure how popular a move it would be to bring back Moyes. Cheers ed.

{Ed002's Note - The text is clear.}

3.) 08 Apr 2016 23:53:53
I think the return of Moyes is on the cards. Bill still thinks a lot of him and believes there is unfinished business. David needs to eat a bit of humble pie if he returns. Moyes had a solid few years but did not have the finances to achieve anything better. He should never have got divorced to the mighty blues but was tempted by the glamour of a fling with something he thought was better but realised in the end the grass isn't greener and his new bit of stuff was poor in the sack. He then had a holiday romance in Spain but it didn't last long before his true love takes him back once he's apologised with his tail between his legs.

4.) 08 Apr 2016 20:31:32
Ed02, u clearly no your stuff. on and off the pitch. I'm interested if you were moshiri and co who would you go for (whether your a blue or not) , and why?

{Ed002's Note - Firstly you need to understand that Mr Moshiri is an Iranian businessman and not a football expert. He will, like the remaining members of the board need to take advice. If you search on the following three words you will find a thread from a couple of weeks ago that delves in to this in more detail: Bretto suggested Flores.}

1.) 05 Apr 2016 08:07:10
Not a single disagree, this says something as we did have disagrees lately, i'd like to know who on here still wants him as manager, not a witch hunt either as would like to see their justification so no slating from me for Blues who still want him.

03 Apr 2016 15:24:01
Yarmalenko is a must, beef up midfield barrys not getting any younger don't want bony either ed what's your view.

Tbone61efc

{Ed025's Note - i really rate him Tbone, the problem is dealing with kiev and his agent who are tossers mate..

1.) 03 Apr 2016 18:18:07
Amen to that.

2.) 03 Apr 2016 18:26:15
It does not matter who we buy if we do not change managers, even £150,000 will not stop the decline of our team.
