I think Lucas Digne is a very good player, but when was his last decent game? Something not right?

Maybe it was the injury he picked up when playing for France.
Or maybe it’s because our defence isn’t quite settled yet.

Letting Niles go out on loan means we have the same issue now at left back as we have at right back. No competition.

Woburn, with our full backs I'm not sure it's so much an issue of competition, more one of support and depth.

If there was a viable alternative at LB, even one at slightly lower level, I think the Digne (who has been carrying an injury) and the team as a whole would benefit from him being given some proper time to recuperate.
