Do our scouts travel to other leagues? I wonder because the likes of South American leagues are breeding grounds for taoent.

Really Mike, they travel that far? I thought it was a leisurely stroll around Stanley Park, a quick scout on Fifa 14 and then a phonecall to Kia Joorabchian.

1 of the scouts was in Portugal very recently. But his wife and kids were there too. Turns out it was just a holiday.

Shorthen America has always produced lots of talent but, realistically, how many have left their games for the Premier league (or other big leagues) and made it? There are a few but really there isn't many so it makes them a big risk (which I don't think we are in a position to take) .

I think Cropper is refering to direct transfers from South Amerca ed, obviously still too many to name but i think the majority have proven themselves at other European clubs first.
