Depends on who you believe. My gut feeling is its a done deal but that could just be last nights curry. All we can hope is if we have been taken over that they invest in the team and don't just pile on debt on top of our existing debt. Unfortunately Americans don't tend to take companies/ clubs over unless they pile the debt onto the organisation they are taking over. Fingers crossed that these yanks are different than the rest.

Apparently they have taken over 32 businesses investing a lot of money and just recently 1 in ireland for 25 million they have made all these businesses from what I have read a success fingers crossed if its true.

This could explain some of the issues around performance and Roberto's recent anxious behaviour. I'd be interested to hear other points of view. If you were Roberto, does an impending change of ownership make you more or less secure in your job? I think his position would come under much greater scrutiny with new owners-particularly those with no particular emotional ties to the club.

Surely if this is true new players have to be coming in when they bought the san diego padres funnily enough from tom werner star players were bought and a new stadium was built these guys seem follow thru on there commitments hope sooo.

Thank goodness for that if true. It gives Bill a much needed break and hopefully able to get himself better. It also gives impetus to new owners to get rid of this fraud and get someone in who knows what they are doing.
