I see some of the papers are trying to sell McCarthy again. Any truth to this Ed or are the papers just trying to sell our whole first team before deadline day?

{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware he is going nowhere. Everton have made it very clear he is not for sale. The offer would have to be ridiculous or the club would look ridiculous accepting it now.}

If you believe it all then we could be without Mirallas, McArthy and Stones. Never mind though Martinez is yet again very excited.

how long do we give Martinez?

he came on a promise of bringing champions league football to us which to me isn't any closer than it was under walter smith

if I was in charge I would give him until 8am Thursday morning and if we haven't got a team that can finish in the top 4 give him his marching orders.

also how much has he spent in his short time with us. McCarthy, Kone, lukaku, 50 mil+ just on those

Rom and McCarthy are well worth the money we paid for them let's be honest here it's the board that needs sacking he may have spent 50 mill on them 3 but we sold Fellini for 28 mill n got the sky TV money??? You can't blame Roberto after one bad season look at other clubs etc stoke, west ham all smaller spending well more money it's a joke yas weren't moaning at the end of his 1st season fickle kopite behaviour!!

i see West Ham United really pushing on this coming season, same too with Newcastle (the wally with the brolly) knows how to perform in the league

spurs will be around the top 5 places, I don't see us finishing higher than 10th at best right now.

Baines had a poor and injury filled season and not sure if he will or even wants to bounce back knowing his utd ship has sailed

too many young kids are filling in the gaps, look at villa and how the kids have done there

can lukaku score 20+ goals this season with our current team?? I don't see it happening

Martinez first season was moyes's team performing and anyone saying any different is laying to themselves, last season we see his influence on the team and I hate to see where we will be at the end of the coming season,

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember Waaly Smith getting us into Europe. As for the cost of the three players £48m. Considering the money being quoted for McCarthy I think we got the best part of the deal even if we cut our losses and let Kone go to Southport for £5.00

{Ed025's Note - yeah but wigan want a bit of that as a sell on clause mike?.. :)
