To all you that say that we should not moan that we never bought a big name player and that we are obsessed with spending a 100 million and that we didn't need to spend big because we have done well in buying who we have and are squad is stronger no one is saying spend it all just for the sake of it and I bet you would all have been made up I'd we bought a top notch player for around 50 million and said that's just what we needed I think you are all making excuses for us not attracting any big names nothing to do with champions league other clubs down the years have attracted big players without champions league football.

So Skylark how many top 50 million mark players was available that would improve our squad?

We can't go tapping up players who are perfectly happy where they are. In the grand scheme of things there are or were very few players available to strengthen our team/ squad. Any that are available we have to then compete with everyone else for them.

It is then not easy to secure these type if players as there availability is very few and far between. How many players moved into the premiership yesterday for over 20million?

Gives you an idea on how limited we are to go out and get the players to improve us. It is an awful lot harder said than done.

we all would love £50-£60m players but we not that big a deal as of yet. I would also like to tell blues to look at Malaga they was taken over in 2010 signed a lot of top stars they had debts and they was kicked out of Europe they had to sell all their star players and now are a middle of the table side. So splashing cash to make us fans happy while would be great I don't want to run that risk just to say yay we spent ££££ on this player. Chelsea thought they done well getting Torres for £50m he never looked like a £50m player to most.
