An article online from the Financial Times is running with a story that FM is in talks with one of the people that were part of the consortium that included Kenyon. They are saying that talks have been ongoing for the last couple of days and that a figure of 400m is muted. Any eds have any info on this?

{Ed025's Note - only the same as what you have read BP. It’s apparently at an advanced stage but to be honest I think we could do without the upheaval at this time mate..

That's a good point Ed. Honestly I hadn't thought any further than the positives but I think you may be right. Things are improving and seam a bit more stable than recent times. I could understand moshiri wanting to get out though.

{Ed025's Note - I just hope it doesn’t disrupt our recent improvement cropper. New owners tend to want to bring in their own staff and may have different ideas on how the club is run mate..

It's Maciek Kaminski, don't see how he can have the funds needed to go it alone.

Like many on here - have no idea about finances when it comes to the club.

However £400m whilst sounds a lot, when you take into context what Moshiri has spent on purchasing the club, buying players and getting the new stadium construction started it doesn’t seem like it is a lot of money.

With the pound dropping in valve 400million pounds asking price today is not the same as 400million 2 months ago. Reckon all English clubs and businesses could be picked off.

Cheers, ed025. I agree with you there, we are looking more stable as a club than any other time under FM, we could do without the upheaval and uncertainty right now.
GD, it was because of the present CE that made me ask the eds if they had heard anything. Seemed a bit lower than what FM wanted originally, if reports are to be believed. But, as Cookie says, the finances will have changed due to the financial market right now, especially with how weak the pound is. We will see if anything comes of this soon enough, everything comes out in the wash as they say.

No it's just one of them, Kaminski according to the report.

The only reason you would sell now is if you want out, selling to the US only benefits the US player. If you happy to ride out the rubbish state of the £ and wish to see things through you wouldn't sell.

I may be wrong but I thought the offer was $400mill not £s. Wouldn't have though the value of the £ would matter too much to moshri, he doesn't live here does he? So wouldn't want the money £s anyway.

Pound and dollar about equal so doesn't matter which one is quoted. Can't see Moshiri being happy with 400million. after that the new owners have to find the funds to finish the new stadium. Can't see this happening unless Kaminski is purchasing a stake (partnering with Moshiri) in the club with the money going towards the new stadium.

I thought it was investment rather than purchase.
