More and more chatter around locally on a Ross Barkley return.
For me, if his wages are next to nothing then fine, anything over £10k a month and we’ve been mugged off again.
Obviously I’d rather he just stayed well away from Everton FC.

May be the odd one out on here but I’d take him all day long. We desperately need attacking quality and delivery and he has that. A risk yes. But he’s older now, and for the lad it’ll be his last chance. Win win.

{Ed025's Note - yeah we could have a midfield of Barkley, Alli and Gbamin S+G, who needs Kendall, Harvey, Ball hey mate..

He processes little quality, woeful delivery and a lot of bad attitude baggage. Not for me.

Sigh of course your right Ed, but the only quality players we going to attract or afford these days are either last chance salooners on special offer, or a punt on championship players that may or may not do it in the Prem. Both come with risk. Just saying, but for once the stars could align and Barkley could work - there is no doubt he has the ability - it won’t cost us the earth - and coming back to Goodison might just be the ticket.

{Ed025's Note - i gave up on Ross many moons ago S+G, very talented local lad who i championed since he was a kid, but he let himself and the club down badly due to very poor life choices mate and leopards dont change their spots, i know we are desperate...but not that desperate..

We are not that desperate. Even if we'd have got relegated I still would not have wanted him back.
