Just seen on the Metro site on News Now Clint Dempsey not in the Tottenham squad to play Monaco as he has flown to America to talk to us

1.) I like him, he would be a good addition. But I hope Martinez will soon start to add younger players.

10.) I doubt BK has much to do with the transfers beyond sanctioning any bids, it would be Elstone's job to negotiate contracts etc, so Teary Bill being back in the UK shouldn't have any significance attached to it with regards to not being able to negotiate a deal.

11.) Don't want him, last season maybe, but now another year older, and the fact we would have to deal with Levy, who is a person to say the least.

But the main reason why I wouldn't want him is that his signing would mean Ross Barkley would see less time on the pitch, and to me, that is a massive no-no. Reckon Barkley is finally going to flourish under Martinez, who would actually allow him to express himself and play some football.

Barton's agent Willie McKay has just been on the Alan Brazil show and said this story is genuine. He said he spoke to Martinez and while he didn't go for it then, he didn't say no either.

There is a leaked picture today of our new home shirt on the fish that is blue site. I really hope that it's a fake. It has a white 'proper' collar and even bigger white cuffs this time with a blue stripe running through the centre of them and it also has the comedy badge on it. I much prefer the other leaked kit picture from a few weeks ago (the one that also had a new away shirt with it).

1.) I think this is real. All Adidas kits look like other Adidas kits, just as all Nike kits look just like other Nike ones (FC Twente's away kit was almost identical to ours). Man U's kit is Nike and looks very similar to this one (collar and all) so I imagine this is the real thing.

3.) Everton won't have the same style as man u because we aren't a premium nike team yet so we will be getting the basic nike kit (similar to last years

Just been looking at newsnow Howard is touch and go for tomorrow so we may have the dreaded Mucha between the sticks. We should have enough to beat Reading though we owe them for the return game.

Hi everyone just posted a picture of next seasons home shirts (short and long sleeve) on Everton sightings page.

Sadly picture looks genuine as they appear to be hanging in our dressing room.

Might have been passable without THAT badge. What do you'se all think?

1.) So far I'm really not impressed with what Nike have supplied us with. I wasn't overly keen on last years, this is just gash, looks like a bad mid 90's rugby shirt.

4.) Agreed Paul, a little better than the current one. But with that excuse for a crest on it, my money is staying firmly in my pocket.

5.) Gees, get over the dam crest will you. There was logic behind the change. In this day it's about margins, and our previous outdated crest could not be easily reproduced digitally to be shown on TV when we play and because there were so many different parts to it, it cost a lot more to put it on all our shirts and other merchandise. Stop living in the 1980s, join us in the real world, support the team, buy the dam kit.

6.) If this is indeed our new home kit, it is possibly the worst since the One-to-One pale blue effort of the Johnson era. Hoops on the sleeves? (Wavertree Blue)

thanks for your reply ed the everton thing on talksport doesn't appear to be happening. Listening now and no sign of it they did advertise it last night too.

hi ed is there any reason why you keep changing my posts about the everton special on tonight it is not on that satellite station it is on the radio station with the initials t and s. I was just trying to pass on something I heard to fellow blues as it could be quite a good listen but not having a lot of luck getting it posted. {E d025's Note - i have only just got home paul, if you post it again i will post it mate..
