Ed, a friend of mine was out with Kevin Sheedy last week and he didn't have a good word to say about Moyse. He said he had not signed a contract because utd had told him if he didn't sign they wouldn't have to pay compensation to us. Bit of s---t trick if true

1.) Im not sorry to say, but what a load of bolox, no Everton legend would just come out with something like that, can only say RS Alert again. Well I suppose they are digging holes for themselves having Ted as boss.

2.) I ve always felt that's what moyes was planning

3.) No mate, been Everton fan for 43 years. I was just passing what I had heard. Think about it though, is it Moyse who wouldn't sign because utd had come calling or is it our board is that bad they just forgot to ask him to sign?

4.) Given that he undertook not to try and sign any of our players, and now seems intent on doing so, they above conversation does not surprise me, the whole man of integrity thing, is a total sham.

5.) It's true that he never spoke to Sheedy or the big fella or watched youth games

6.) Evertonian for 43 years but can't spell the manager's name after 11 years.

Hi Ed, how much did we get from the league last season? We have missed out on so many players who we could of had on loan, it scary. Seems all the players that could of improved the squad have gone to other teams. Do you think we will get anyone that will get the fans excited? {Ed025's Note - we will make some additions that will be good jrab mate..

Ed, I don't understand all these Martinez rumours. He might of won the cup yesterday and if that makes people think he's the man then maybe we should look at Redknapp as well, hope not. If you look at the bigger picture with Martinez what has he done. Fight relegation every year, do we want to go back to that again? I'm not sure who I would have because there's not a lot out their that we could afford. This has got to be the biggest transfer we have been involved in for the past decade, so much rides on the right appointment. Who do you think we should go for and why? {Ed025's Note - for me its martinez mate...plays good football, and with better resources, which he will get at everton, could hit the spot..

1.) I dislike the whole 'fights relegation every year' argument. We are a much bigger club than Wigan with, thanks to DM, stability and consistency in the top 7. Show some perspective.

2.) Totally agree with ed, we have much better caliber of player than Wigan, and our wage bill will be twice there's, allows him more to attract different players. Plus he likes full control of the club, as Moyes had, so that would suit him, and he's not scared to throw in the youth!
