The other day the media were reporting Koeman had signed an extension. Tonight BBC sport are reporting that Saints executive director of football Les Reed said talks are going very positively, so maybe he might still chose us over an extension.

Simeone is actually my favourite. I think Athletico and Everton are similar in ways and would suit him.

Absolutely sick as a dog again! Back down to earth with a bump.
Howard should never have been handed a starting spot straight off. We went from 3 consecutive clean sheets with joel, to having conceded in every game since with Howard!
Both goals today he should have done so much better.
As for lukaku, he looked like a lame donkey again today.
For 28m I expect so much better!

Mo besic is starting to impress me more and more with each passing game at the moment.
Think we have a new midfield warrior on our hands here.

1.) You know how diamond dealers turn a stone over and over before making their confirmation that the stone is in fact a diamond. Maybe such is the case in Besic
2.) A little more discipline and we will have a really good one in Besic. And listening to Lukaku (Players approached Roberto after the West Ham game asking if they could vary their play to be a little more direct at times) it would seem rumours of dressing room unrest may have been correct. Totally different Team when they pass the ball quickly and directly.

I wasn't for his appointment at all. I was strongly in the Vitor Perreira camp, however after last season, I really did think I had martinez all wrong, and was won over by the apparent transformation and the pretty football. Now it would appear I'm back to square 1 again!

Agree Ant. He's driven me mental tonight. Every time you see him, he's just strolling about, barely breaks into a jog and no input into the game at all! Perhaps he believes too much in his own hype!
