Sheraldo Becker forward from Union Berlin being put forward by the echo as someone we’re looking at my. No idea who he is but watching his clips reel he looks fast and seems to know where the goal is scored 7 so far this season.

Its a strange one with him Big C. He has the same output as a Demari Gray but yet he is a much better player.

I remember this lad costing me twice on my acca with a not so spectacular goal against Bayern Munich to earn a draw and then a second timez, when he decided to turn into prime Alan Shearer v Villa. That one where he left the great Dane stuck in the mud as he side volleys it top bin across the other corner of the goal. He also replicates Aguero's goal against the Reds, where he rounds the keeper and whips it in from an almost impossible angle. Two goals that none of our players would ever be able to execute.
There is no questioning Becker is an intelligent player, he never panics and knows exactly when to let the ball go, and then when to drive it forward. Having watched him and then having watched McNeil, Gray and Gordon etc. He is already twice the technical ability of all of them.

He is quick, strong and can go either side when running at a man. He can strike a ball competently with either foot. He has something that we are greatly lacking and something that Dyche loves, in a player that is direct and whips crosses into the box.

I am not DCL's biggest fan but if he is coached similarly to the good year he had by Calrlo and to get in the box and cause havoc, then he should get a few goals off this lad.


Exactly the type of player we should be signing, even taking into account the output. He could play in multiple forward positions, which given our trouble with injuries is an asset in itself. He isn't a bad age at 27 and i doubt he is on a fortune at them.

Not a chance the lad comes though. He is fighting for the Bundesliga as things stand. I imagine they would charge us a bomb knowing the Gordon fee.
