Alright eds. You heard anything on taking Yoann Gourcuff as he is a free agent? Or is it more media rubbish?

NathanCOYB

{Ed025's Note - its rubbish nathan, we have our quota now mate..

1.) 04 Sep 2015 12:33:39
We only named a 24 man squad so we can add 1 more

2.) 04 Sep 2015 13:52:44
Still room for 1 more - we only registered 24.

3.) 04 Sep 2015 16:23:05
hi ed do u know if we r interested in the Ghana playmaker Anthony annan he is available on a free transfer think he would be a good option on a short term deal to see ow he would perform plus he would be able to handle the physical side of the premier league

{Ed002's Note - I wouldn't think so. Are you just clutching at straws?}

4.) 04 Sep 2015 17:02:35
It would seem logical that any player who's available as a "free agent" is in that situation for a reason - injured, past it, attitude, wants too much money, would need work permit, etc., etc.
I'd rather see if one of our existing squad can do the number-ten job. If not, then try for someone during the next transfer windows.

5.) 04 Sep 2015 21:10:32
sid, I would like to see del boy in the number10 position he has an eye for a pass and for the goal think it would be good to try him in that position see how he links up with rom but one thing for sure he has to be in the first team

Ive heard we are trying to strike a deal with Spurs for Lennon and Lamela. Lamela was Marseille bound but wants to stay in the prem? anything Eds?

NathanCOYB

{Ed025's Note - nothing on lamela nathan, but lennon is certainly on the radar mate..

1.) 01 Sep 2015 13:08:52
Lamela was reportedly heading back to Italy but Levy stopped the move as they had not signed a replacement so can't see this happening, anyway is he better than Lennon not for me!

2.) 01 Sep 2015 13:12:03
an unnamed prem club bid 18 million for lamela, surely not us

01 Sep 2014 11:57:57
Heard a rumour of Di Camargo from Standard Liege. You heard anything Eds?

NathanCOYB

{Ed025's Note - no mate..

1.) 01 Sep 2014 13:28:03
Terrible, terrible player. If we were ever interested in him, he was a Moyes target. Never Martinez.

A guy I work with (has a box at Cardiff City) has said that Caulker is 99.9% off. He said its a battle between us and Southampton and the release clause is more £6mill than the £8mill that's been stated in the papers. Hope so as he would be a great addition.

Ive heard a whisper around the ground that Mccarthy is being offered a new 6 year deal and is well up for signing and staying with Bobby and the blues.

Hope so as he's only going to get better, and that's frightning considering how good he is now.

NathanCOYB

1.) He only signed 12 months ago. I doubt the club would be daft enough to up his money etc. after 12 months tbh mate

2.) 29 May 2014 14:00:03
martinez does want to give him a pay rise paddock, along with coleman, stones and ross

3.) He's been promising them all wage increases for months. Getting a little suspicious now.

Eds, is the loan windown open for prem teams? if so, do you see us using it.
Happy we got Lennon yesterday and Mori (lets hope he turns out to be a good buy).
Hopefully we can start talking about picking up 3 points every week now instead of the same old stuff about the board, which is becoming a bit tiresome. (this does not mean I disagree with what's been said already BTW)
COYB!!

NathanCOYB

{Ed002's Note - There is no "loan window" - the Transfer Window is CLOSED.}

1.) 02 Sep 2015 17:36:06
I agree bout the board comment NathanCOYB being tiresome. Not sure bout the 3 points. I have a feeling that Martinez is setting Everton up to be very defensive for the first 10 games because of the hard start we have. I hope I'm wrong about that. I'd love to see Everton go at it with Chelsea in the next game. Play Del boy and Mirallas and hit the ground running. As I said I don't think he will. because he set up defensively so far.

Fellow blues & Eds,

Although Bobby has stated that he only needs a winger to complete the squad do we expect more signings or loans to be made.
Im sthinking we are a bit thin up top for 4 competitions. I would love to go as far in all of them as possible but could possibly see issues with fitness with all the games.

What you think?

NathanCOYB

{Ed025's Note - im expecting a buy and two loans nathan..

Was just looking through the teams that got relegated to see if there was anyone half decent available. Reckon that boy Redmond from Norwich would be worth a shout. Who was the fella from Fulham who scored against us at craven cottage too. I remember him being pretty decent for a few games too. Anyone else you can think of eds? Surely there is some talent that could help out with our many fixtures next season.

NathanCOYB

1.) John Ruddy from Norwich, I know we got rid of him a few seasons ago but he'd make a better stand in keeper than Joel.

2.) Caulker and Marshall from cardiff are both good players

3.) I know a lad who is Cardiff City season ticket holder. He reckons Caulker has a release clause if they went down. £5mill. Good shout that

4.) Would bite their hand off at that good young English defender and a replacement for alcaraz/ Distin, on the contrary would like to see stones, Duffy and browning get play time

I still love Tim Cahill now that he no longer plays for us. I wouldn't want him back as a player as I think the time was right when he left. However after seeing what he has done with the soccer schools in Australia, would love him back in some sort of coaching capacity. As we all know he bleeds blue like the rest of us.
