Wasting your time C2, you don't get sensible answers here. Someone will say £30milion no less despite them spending most of the season bashing Seamus on this page.

Well if Luke Shaw wasnt worth it, yet you paid the 30 million asking price, obviously you will pay what our asking price is if you want him.

I don't take any notice in the offers you are apparently going to make that are reported in the press, if you want him it will no doubt be on our terms, good luck with that if anything like the Fellaini cost is anything to go by

Acceptable offer for me mate would be £30 million and no players coming our way.

Flank midfielders have to work especially hard when Baines and Coleman are in the side. I don't think Coleman is found wanting defensively, but more the style of play that restricts his defensive influence. I think Baines has shown less when someone like Piennar is not playing and Mirallas is.

To Everton he is worth 25 plus so if utd want him then they will pay the big bucks

Red Rosie what isn't sensible about saying 30 million?? That's easily his value, tell me a better rb in the prem that you could get for less? 2nd best rb in league behind ivanovic and you think you can sign him for 15 million because it's united, if he signs for you lot it will b for over 20 million definitely, possibly 20 million and januzi on loan, that's just realistic, not silly mate

True worth or market value?

Don't get sensible answers here? Can you blame us?. You come on here with 'utd fan in peace' yet all you do is go on about what a great club you are and how much you love yourselves.

Current market value is £30m no less. If there were other options for United that were better they wouldn't be looking towards Seamus. Fact is other than Alves who stayed at Barca, Ramos who will stay at Madrid and Ivanovic who is Chelsea through and through there isn't a better RB option for them. As these players are already at top clubs who compete for top honours. So a high valuation is justified due to supply and demand.

I agree Coleman is not worth £30m. However the simple fact is we do not want to sell, and he is on a long term contract. Therefore it is up to United to pay over the odds to persuade us to sell, which is where the £30m figure comes from. I think that you United fans believe that you are entitled to buy our players just because you are a bigger club.

Swan,

Nobody has said what a great club we are or that we love ourselves, you make things up to make points that is one thing that is blatantly clear.

I think in the current market you could argue that Coleman is worth up to £30million I don't think that is unrealistic, he has a long time left on his contract, has shown he can attack and defend and players at a similar level have been sold for similar amounts.

I don't really get the 'because it is United you think you can get him cheaper' argument, when it is United clubs know we have money and add about £10 million on, we haven't got anybody cheap for a long time, so why would we think we can get him cheap? People will have different opinions about what a player is worth, it is not because we are united, maybe people just don't rate the player as high as you do.

Real worth 1.5m but then footballers should only be on about 1k a week if you look what they actually contribute to society. Prem League valuation based on the current market 25-30m and I wouldn't take any player on loan.

If Red Rosie and Caolan_2 don't understand the laws of supply and demand I can only suggest that they look at their own transfer dealings. I am heartily sick of fans and the media thinking they name their own price when it comes to our players. I also suggest if you want to whine about our 'inflated' prices you go back to your own page where I'm sure you will be met with agreement that Everton should accept a packet of polo's and a groundsman on loan for a year.
