Just heard our manager saying we are not under-achieving! Wonder if that's because he knows we could be in for a certain beating. Bloody hell, how can he say that?

While their is a lot of blame going around ultimately the buck stops with the manager He leads the way with motivation and psychology he overlooks tactics strategy and training and is responsible for the players well being and nutritional intake he picks the team and makes the substitutions none of this can happen without his approval this team looks so so unfit its shocking some of the players r struggling to last 60 mins oviedo was forced to play rightback because the manager has failed in 2 seasons to get a back up for coleman not to mention we only have 3 centre backs and one of them has only arrived at the club. Players like stones need taught and nurtured to improve the talent is undoubtedly there but needs to be progressed the feeling I have is that r defenders r left to there own devices simply they aren't expected to practice defending its not in the managers philosophy maybe this explains baines comments. it truly is time for change I like bill but he becomes to friendly with his managers and then is unable to do what is needed managers very good managers indeed have been removed for far less ones that have even won the champions league di matteo del bosque and maybe pellegrini. Wow these conspiracy theories are hilarious. As a dislikee of the board and especially Kenwright even I have to say that is silly. 'The board forced John Stones to hand in a transfer request', well, what about the bad players? Bilyaletdinov, Jelavic and Anichebe, did the board force them too? Of course not. Ever thought that maybe, just maybe, a player wants to leave the club? Nope got to be forced out, no other explanation. No one would want to leave Everton, look at how great we are doing, 20 years without a trophy, a tin shed for a stadium, miserable fans who give abuse to their own players, no money and not improving at all (4 of those 5 are the boards fault to be fair). There is genuine rubbish from the board and then there is the tin foil hat wearing people who swear Jesus is in their jeans.

I have never seen him play, however I've seen a few videos and I like the look of him. i'm not saying you can tell whether a player will be a success from youtube, nor can you gauge his quality.
One thing I seen was that he is very much two footed, right or left no problem and that is a very promising thing in my eyes. The echo posted a video of him, he can do the spectacular and the simple it seems. a few overhead kicks in there. Only time will tell.

toffeelant if you look him up on youtube there is a video of him playing for river plate he looks a tidy finisher but we will have to see what he is like in a more competitive league

Made the weekend for me yesterday, the week in fact. Just like defeat wrecks the whole week until we can get going again. Baines and Coleman back to form, Kev getting better each time I see him, unlike last season. As for our youngsters- confirmation of the strength and quality in the youth sides. Would just love to see Davies in white boots!

A pleasing thing for me at the mo is the fact that Our recent signings have said things like Coming here was a "no brainer" we seem to be more of an attraction as opposed to lennon's face in those pics last year. Hope this extends to names such as Heller, slimani and ghezzel.

I've spent much of the season waiting for a decent run by us. Like all of us, I have been gutted for all of that time. Nevertheless, I resisted joining the clamour for the gaffer's head. It was when he tried to embarrass Bainsey that I gave up on him 100%. Now just a thrashing of the mackems tonight, a win on Sunday then we move on, and we will. Eternal optimism I know but we will move on. COYB.
