Ed, don't you think Martinez should give Conor Grant a chance in the first team, he's been quality when he has been out on loan!
{Ed025's Note - i would say leave him at doncaster for another season myself benk, he is doing well and gaining valuable experience there, we are good for midfielders at the moment mate and sitting on the bench will be of no benefit at all to him imo..

Ed025: my understanding is that Conor Grant is only contracted to Everton until June 2016, so he wouldn't be our player to loan out for another season after that. As it stands, he could therefore leave Everton on a free (with some "development" compensation because of his age) this summer.
{Ed025's Note - then we need to re-evaluate his contract sid, he is obviously not breaking in to the first team at the moment, so it will be up to the coaches to decide his future...too good to leave or not good enough to stay?..tough one..

He'll still be classed as an under-21 player next season so wouldn't take up a squad place even if he stayed with us and didn't go out on loan. No brainier?
