I fail to understand how you can say Sturridge is over-rated. He cost £12m. Since he signed for Liverpool he has played 33 games and scored 30 goals. He has scored in each of his last 7 premier league games in a row. Only 3 players have ever scored in 8 or more in a row.He will draw level with 2 of them if he scores tomorrow. Van Nistelroy leads that with 10 and that was done between March 22, 2003 and August 23, 2003 which encompasses parts of two seasons. He is currently 2nd behind Suarez as top scorer in the premier league. He has been one of the most consistent strikers in the premier league for over a year averaging nearly a goal a game. Over-rated, Really or is it just because he plays for Liverpool?

1.) Sturridge is a brilliant player. Would love him here. We need someone like him as we are toothless in attack. Someone with his pace and finishing ability is what we are seriously lacking.

If Chelsea still had him they would probably be running away with the league.

Its my opinion mate, at chelsea and city he did nothing to impress me, he has a good record at liverpool, alongside the best striker in the world on current form, when I watch him he doesn't do anything but finish off the work of others, most of em simple tap ins my nan could score, he is second in the league in goals, doesn't mean he is the second best overall, aguero, jovetic, van persie, rooney and negredo are all better, he is lazy, greedy and his stupid dance annoys me, I think he is like hernandez, scores tap ins, well done, that's his job, doesn't contribute really anywhere else on the pitch, just my opinion mate if a player scores tap ins and doesn't do anything else, it isn't enough, coutinho is just as annoying, he did 2 outside of his foot passes vs newcastle last year and I sh*t you not, liverpool fans told me he was the best attacking midfielder in the league by a mile, oscar, silva, mata, toure when he goes there and cazorla are all better than him, are they world class? No, do they do their jobs which is all well I just don't think they are as good as 1 or 2 things make them look like, again all about opinions, suarez is still liverpools best player

3.) If that is your opinion swan then you obviously don't watch sturridge enough. he scores all sorts of goals. tap ins. screamers. team goals the lot. he can be greedy at times but so are some of the best strikers around. his chip against west brom was sensational. and you forget when suare wasnt in the team at the start sturridge scored 3 goals in 3 games. the first two coming from nothing. I feel your very bitter about us having two of the most deadliest strikers in europe at the moment, there's no denying it. anyway that's my opinion, that's also backed up with facts.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion Mike, so I thought I'd share a little mix of his goals to show he is far from just a simple tap in striker.

I'm sure there are plenty of teams out there that wouldn't mind some of those goals in their team. He contributes plenty at Liverpool apart from his goals and his movement to make space for other players is exceptional. He is far from lazy and this greedy tag is a myth.
If anything he is under-rated and he is on current form one of the best English players around. That's my opinion for what it's worth.

5.) If that's Swans opinion then that's his opinion. He's probably watched a lot of him. Like I have. What I see is a greedy, selfish, arrogant wannabe who is made to look good by Suarez, Coutinho and sterling (all who I rate very highly.) Sturridge will be shown to be the average player that he is when Woy does the stupid thing and plants him alongside Rooney at the World Cup. Not only will he be average, his attitude will stink, his body language will stink and his 10 shots when he should have passed to the free man will also stink. I'd sooner play Ricky Lambert.

6.) Sturridge has just scored against Swansea and set one up for Henderson. oh and he scored half of his goals at the beginning of the season when Suarez was banned and not playing. I really don't get some of you guys. Liverpool have scored nearly double what we have and Sturridge has got a third of them. How can he be a terrible player? I hate those t**ts as much as anyone else, but I can see that their forward line is fantastic compared with ours.

7.) Wow, let's all get the cork out for Daniel Sturridge. He's gone and scored and set one up at home to Swansea. Your right. He is amazing. Liverpool are amazing. Their frontline is scintillating (especially compared to ours). I wish we could have their team. I wish we were them. Our team is useless, totally inferior. Losing away to Chelsea and Spurs. How dare they. We should be turning these teams over no problem.
