Looks to be getting loaned back for rest of season.just hope he makes an impression next season. Was hoping our Uruguay striker would of broken onto 1st team fringes,even bench.anyone know what's happened to him.

Not a rumour, but if we get Cleverley and Rodwell for a cut price, I honestly think that they'd be good signings. With Europe we need strength in depth? What you think Ed?

{Ed025's Note - not a fan of either to be honest tom, for me we need players who will strengthen the team and be pushing for a starting berth, and i dont see them replacing anyone anytime soon mate..

1.) Think either could push peanut or osman. Both reaching their sell by date. Also still believe Rodwell could make a very good centre back.

{Ed025's Note - but would you pay Â£8m and Â£5m respectively for the chance that they might come good WB?...i would be reluctant to accept the both on frees mate...just my opinion..

2.) Fair enough Ed but sadly no players are cheap anymore. Just look at what Fulham paid for an average striker. Maybe I'm just being sentimental for the Rodders I once knew.

3.) Fat Frank Lampard Junior? you are having a laugh. The best thing he could do now is pretend to be injured so that Tom Cleverley can claim his rightful place in the England squad. And then retire.

4.) Why not, as long as his wages were realistic. He would get us goals and bring a wealth of experience. Certainly never a starter but a vital squad player for a long season and just a single season for certain

5.) Think you would be stupid to turn lampard down for a year, not only the football but a great figure for the dressing room and the youngsters with a 100 cap international around. Unfortunately can't really see him staying in england will probably go further afield imo

As good as all these loan signings are, is there going to be any permanents? That will bolster our starting 11?

1.) As ed 25 said loan signings for this season, bobby has plans in the summer and hopefully more cash, some gems to be seen in World Cup and are youngsters I think will burst into the prem. can't wait

Bad attitude, would unsettle the dressing room, is so inconsistent he has about 2 good games all season and it annoys me the way every player 'suites' martinez's style of play, dannie guthrie suites are style more than yaya toure, still know who I would rather have, let him go to fulham, we don't need him
