we still need a striker a midfielder and a defender if we want to compete for top 4.
1.) No we need a billionaire if we're to compete in the top 4
2.) We need a deep CM to complete the squad maybe a winger, then replacements as we can't afford another striker or CB on the books without loosing Heitinga or Vellios/Anichebe
3.) And a billionaire new owner, new stadium, and better pies. let's just get behind what we have, football is a sport it's a game, Bradford got to the league cup final, Wigan bear city in the FA cup final, be positive money and new players is not the be all and end all. We went close last season but tailed off around Christmas because we didn't have a squad, the squad does have more depth now so anything is possible.

been watchin the blackburn v derby match this will hughes looks very promising only 18 very good center midfileder can see him costing anymore than 5m snap him up martinez!
1.) Was just coming on here to enquire if we had any interest in Will Hughs. Looks like a brilliant young player. Derby are supposedly valueing him at around 10 million. Him, Barkley and Fellaini would be a great midfield three imo, with Mirralas, Pienaar/Deuleflou and Kone/Jelevic up front in a 4-3-3 formation.
2.) Well there is where you're wrong he could easily cost more than £5million as he has attracted interest from Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal many big Premier league clubs and there was a rumour a while back that even Barcelona were sending scouts to see him play. He is a top prospect and English meaning his transfer value would have inflated. Most young promising English prospects transfer value increases when a host of clubs of this stature have expressed an interest in him.

Why does everyone forget about gibson? He's a great player but everyone leaves him out of their teams and whenever we are linked with a midfielder everyone just throws gibson away and say the new midfielder would start every games, gibson's a great player and is one of our best ever buys but loads of evertonians just seem to forget he plays for us
4.) Mirallas is not injury prone.

i think martinez shoud cash in on gueye try an get 4-5 million out of him and invest into a young striker to backup kone and jelavic if he stays
1.) 4 to 5mil, get real, we would be doing well to get 1 mate.
2.) Doubt anyone would pay that much for Gueye mate. Around £1. 5M at best, and that's hoping for a madman like Decanio to come in for him with a bad case of rabies influencing his decision. Guaye has not developed that much since we got him and despite the occasional flashes of potential, he hasn't really shown any flair for the PL. His loan to Brest last season saw him play only 7 games for them and they were relegated after losing 20 games, drawing 5 and winning just 8. If he couldn't get picked as a first team member for a team as woeful as this, then something must be wrong. But Martinez got McManaman playing well again, so we may as well hope for the best for Guaye as we're stuck with him until 2015.
3.) You serious lad? 4-5m for Gueye?! We'd be lucky to get a fiver for the lad

baffling me the way no one has triggered diame release cause of 3m
1.) Reports recently suggested that the clause was a lot higher than the 3.5mil we were led to believe thus putting him out of our range

3.) I have heard last year 5. 5 don't know how come became 3. 5. But 5. 5 still good price.
4.) Diame is a quality player who sometimes does a bit of a Felli and sulks. If Felli is worth 24mill then Diame is certainly worth up to 10mill. He is strong powerful and can pass, hold on to the ball and tackle. What more do you want from a holding midfielder?
