i was concerned with how long it took martinez to make changes against betis.im afraid osman isn't good enough anymore, we need to get fresh legs in midfield barkley showed good signs at times but needs to know when to pass the ball.i think mirallas is the only exciting player we have, I think baines and felli will stay.why don't we go and get diame because we need a box to box midfielder.i am hoping we can have a good season and I hope victor stays on the bench every game.please Rmdont pick him.

1.) Think that's out of order, Victor had a great season last year and should be encouraged to push on, he finally looked like a Prem striker. Scored some great individual goals and work hard for the team. i'd rather we hadn't thrown £5M away on Kone who is clearly not good enough. already being told he has to fight for his place in the team? RM just gave Whelan £5M. got excited with a bit of money in is pocket. How could we pay that for effectively a Championship player at best and Remy goes to Newcastle on loan?? shocking. Face it blues we are going to struggle under this manager. Said it before the appointment and sticking by my opinion. first off bent has gone to fulham, defoe is not good enough, everybody moans about kones age, but defoe is older.before anybody mentions his ability to score think about a few things he will not leave london regardless of the world cup and he is overrated, anyone wonder why spurs still wanted a striker and still played adebayor before him eve. though defoe is a clinical amazing striker according to youse, he has an attitude and is very greedy, a mate of mine was at charlton and said he was full of himself, why don't you people get it he is not joining and that is the end of it so wake up, ) martinez needs time so give him it and get these 20m plus .ani, kagawa or hernandez for fellaini things out your head

can all fans stop panicking because of no new signings. there is plenty of time so keep the faith were all proud blues who love our club to bits. in martinez we trust. as long as we increase tye squad we will have a good season COYB

i recently had a go at anichebe and quite a few fans agreed with me one dope said I don't go the game I am a season ticket holder in lower bullens. I am a fan of darron gibson and think he's a very under rated player. do fellow blues agree. I hear lee cattermole has been told he can leave sunderland, he is a decent player who martinez knows about afterhim being a wigan player, he sometimes gets sent off but is a good player and is only 25. when heitinga goes, sooner the better tony hibbert can also cover as a centre half. so keep the faith raggy COYB

Darron gibson is very underrated his range of passing is superb, his energy and long shot is deadly if he wasn't as injury prone at united I think he is good enough to replace scholes, cattermole is poor basically another joey barton without the footballing ability

2.) I agreed with you about victor toffepop, but i'm sorry mate not on this one. Cattermole, no mate defo not. I posted to a later post my feelings about him. Gibson is very good at what he does, which sometimes goes unnoticed by a lot of fans, but you can see the players are more comfortable when he's in the side.

3.) The ones that said you don't go the game watch his best bits on match of the day and not the 85 mins were his losing the ball and can't control nothing, but I can't say I fancy catermole the guys a loose cannon and is no good suspended

am I the only evertonian who thinks anichebe is one of the worst players we have seen in a blue shirt i'm not pleased when he's playing. I would like to know what he's good at he tries to hold the ball up and turn but the titanic turns quicker amd he's lazy can someone please assure me that i'm right as I know i'm never wrong

1.) Spot on toffeepop. Posted here many times about victor, 2 good games a season don't make you a good player. And as I've always said moyes indulged him for far far to long. {Ed025's Note - he changed my view last season jimmy, the guy gave his all, and done very well for me mate..

2.) You don't go the game do you mate av never been vics biggest fans but this season he had tryed a lot more good bench player an can roll most defendent

3.) Imo ed the lads got it all to be a top top striker, power and strength, and no slouch in the pace department. He doesn't do it for me on a consistent basis. Best game I've seen him play was against spurs away last season, for every one good game youll get more than half a dozen games where victor reverts to type throwing himself on the floor gesturing and arguing with referees when centre halves are getting the best of him, where as it should be the centre half complaining because he's being pummelled by victor, the size of him. And then to basically being uninterested and always looking to the bench looking to come off when getting the slightest of knocks. he's not my idea of a Dave Hickson, Andy Gray, Duncan Ferguson type of character. {Ed025's Note - some of what you say i agree with jimmy, but he is a decent squad player mate, which we need more of IMO..

4.) You've hit the nail on the head ed (see what I did there ha ha) A decent squad player, not a cert starter week in week out. Ok our squad isn't that or wasn't that big so needs must, then that brings us round to the question why wasn't Velios involved in the squad? apart from the once or twice being on the bench {Ed025's Note - because he and moyes fell out, and moyes does hold grudges...i think he will be given a shot under roberto mate..

5.) To be fair victor was unplayable at times. And I don't think he looked back since. His attitude was simply class so I can't see we're this has come mate. LIAM!

Toffeepop does go the game mate he sits 2 rows behind me and victor rolls most defenders who? Ciaran clark? Hardly call him a top defender, anichebe has pace and power but spends more tim on his a*se than 'rolling defenders' only memorable game I can remember is man city were he barged kolo toure off the ball but apart from that did nothing, does not make runs his finishing is poor and we should be doing better than him, every team nearly in the leage has a super sub (dzeko, hernandez, sturridge, walcott etc. ) Vellios is better imo works hard, can head the ball and looks like someone who if given the chance to score he will take it, anichebe just doesn't cut the mustard for me and we need someone better. I understand our small squad but as a whole anichebe has not changed my mind at all he is still the same old 6 foot 3 miserable a*se striker he always was

7.) Totally agree Jimmy. we are crying out for a top striker and he is not the answer and never will be

I go the game he prob had his best game against villa against a shocking defense, if people think backing into players to hold the ball and slow play right down is good then don't be silly, he lost ball doing that half the time, his runs he trys to make aren't intelligent and he takes 3 touches to get the ball under control, he's not good enough plain and simple

As a season ticket holder of 38 years I love everton wee need a goalscorer first of all as jeli an victor are not gud enough for us I would like us to get darren bent if moneys tight as he could do a job for us I want heitinga to go as he's a liability i'm glad moyes went he was tactixally niave martinez will improve us so let's all get behind him coyb

1.) Don't agree, Jelavic needs to be given support, for some reason his confidence went, whether this was because of Moyes, remember last year, he just doesn't become a bad player over night.

2.) You must not of seen him the last six months, his fitness is awful at the moment, air shots, weak shooting, falling when trying to hit the ball.

People are saying its because moyes had him dropping back but this is 5 mins after coming off the bench

3.) Felt sorry for Jela last season. hardly got the ball played to him and when he got it was when it got booted from the back out to wing when we defending. He ain't become a bad player overnight. He will score goals for us and I see the way martinez likes his teams to play resulting in Jela hitting the net again

Fellaini going nowhere that's a fact martinez will get 15-20 million to spemd and as for the person who likes the new badge he needs his head testing badge is awful. blueskittle needs to contribute more as like me he talks a lot of sense.
