Is it me or do we never seem to change or learn lessons from our dealings in the transfer market? Been hearing that we might be making a bid for some right back and mayb Ben White the centre back and now I’m hearing we might be interested in some promising up and coming youngster who’s an attacking midfielder for Arsenal…well that’s all very well and good, but surely the utmost priority right now is a proven striker?!?! Am I missing something or am I just over reacting…in fact we’ve been in need of a proven striker in my opinion since Lukaku left the club, this season alone has proved it over and over again and game after game, as points have been lost because of it…I appreciate that at this time of the year that certain players are harder to find or get, but this has been happening now every window since the days of Lukaku, really hope this can be sorted out this time round.

Blue in the face mate, our defence is fine. We need wingers that can get to the line, we need a Striker, very rare in January. It has to be asked though what have our scouts/recruiters been doing. Jan more unlikely than likely Moyes said.

Defence isn't fine mate, Jake isn't a full back and we have limited cover, even those are susceptible to injuries. At LB, Myko might have to do until the summer so that's not as pressing as the other flank. We have enough wingers to see us through, we need the full backs to overlap and put those crosses in just as much.
Totally agree about a striker though, that has been urgent for a year or so. As you say, January isn't a great month to buy one so possibly a loan signing to tide us over?

OK, so I may be in the minority here but a new attacking full back as a minimum in needed this window. Personally I don't think White is that man.
Yes we need 2 proven strikers but I also think with upgraded attacking full backs, we could create both more, and better, chances.

Creating more would be great, tj, but the two clowns we have up top would only squander them anyway. More strikers please!

Totally agree with Potato and Jase. attacking full backs is absolutely imperative. Not only would they hopefully chip in with assists and maybe the odd goal, but they'd consistently be an option for Grealish and Ndiaye that doesn't really exist at the moment. Both of them get doubled up on and would benefit from an overlapping full back.
