It is a bit of a conundrum that isn't it. You would expect there to be some sort of advantage playing a home game under the lights. There certainly used to be for us. "Bear Pit" springs to mind.
The issue we have is that if we don't make Europe again, we will have more and more obscure kick off times and Monday night games to look forward to, due to us being a big enough draw on the tele but having the flexibility of when we play games due to no mid-week fixtures in Europe.

It's a strange one isn't it mate? Night games at Goodison were a mixed bag apart from the important games. We just need to make BMD as much of a fortress as the Old Lady used to be.
