Slap on the wrist for Chelsea, and what the heck is a suspended transfer ban?

I saw this earlier dms!
Honestly the hypocrisy is unbelievable!

It means there's no ban at all.

Did anyone expect anything else?
They cheated the system, and built a squad that brought in several times more than what they broke the rules by.
I know, give them a £10m fine and a ban, which isn't really a ban, as they can work around it.
Pointless.
Lenient because they cooperated. During the period in which they cheated, there was no cooperation - in fact, they hid it. It's nonsense.
Like with City, the Prem are hoping people forget over time.

If it happened to us under TFG, I doubt we'd have got a points deduction.

They are saying they wouldn't have broken FFP if it was declared - total nonsense. There are rules that were broken, and they're terrified of deducting them points, missing CL, and the lawyers suing them for lost revenue.
PL needs a reset. It's not a level playing field. Teams are stuck fighting for the scraps, whilst the top 5 seem able to spend and spend.

The fact is, Chelsea had an awful lot of success with the players they brought in with these dodgy deals. Paying a 10m fine is peanuts for what they achieved.

There's no points deduction because UEFA need teams like Chelsea, not Brentford, etc., to sell to the TV people who want Chelsea v Barcelona, not Everton v AZ Alkmaar.
