Given that we now have pace on both wings, can someone tell me where 200k a week Grealish will play?

We need to improve the squad, not just the first eleven. There will be injuries and suspensions as the season progresses, so we need strength in numbers.

I can understand what you mean, BMD. 200k a week for a squad player? I am liking the fact that we are getting pacey wingers. However, if Grealish rejoins then he has to play, and that means changing our way of playing to suit him. Therefore, if our tactic is still to sit back and hit teams on the break, then Grealish isn't your man.
Saying that, if Moyes decides that he actually wants his team to play football and not hoofball, then Grealish would be perfect. I would even consider playing him just behind the striker, having midfielders and wide men running off him.

Are you both privy to what our finances are like and how much we are prepared to pay him? 200k a week? We have agreed to that have we?

No, but he's getting that and more at City. What you think he loves us so much he will take a massive pay cut? Don't be silly, he's a footballer, they don't give a toss about the clubs they play for, it's all about money.

If he was to come to us, then he won't be on 200k a week. He will probably match the highest earner at the club, which, if reports are true, is about 150k a week. It's then up to him to break into the team, but we have to be happy that we seem to have a better quality midfield with options for rotation.
