I think the last couple of weeks have shown that none of us or the press really know what's going on with our targets. The Norgaard and Johnson deals came completely out of nowhere and weren't even rumoured until the deals were pretty much done. I genuinely think that both deals will work out well for us.
Let's just sit tight, stop believing every rumour we hear and see what's going to happen in the next couple of weeks as I think it's been a pretty positive window so far. Personally I'm hoping for a RB, ST & I would love to see Grealish come back as I think we would have been much higher up the table had he stayed fit all year.

I'll reserve the overall success of the window until come September. The positives so far are, we haven't had to sell any players we don't want to yet.
The negatives are, we still have terrible strikers and terrible full backs.
And although what we have signed so far wasn't as pressing as right back and up top, at least we have strength and depth there.
I'd like Grealish back because he's scary good and draws in more players than a coach would want. And I'd also not be too much against Johnson as striker as he is quite effective in the six yard box. Whereas B&B just are Sunday league.

Listening to TalkSport this morning, and Agbonlahor said Grealish loves Everton, but he isn't even training yet because of the injury he picked up. Can you loan players after deadline day?

Just shows how much Agbonlahor knows, as we've all seen videos of Jack training! Gabby is a reason to switch off TalkSPORT.

I think you get a few additional hours to sort out loans, Ron.
Plus, there's an emergency situation where you can loan a goalkeeper (I think) . Only if they did one for RBs.

You cannot take a player on loan after the window shuts, but you can sign a player before the window, but only pay per game started.
So, sign for 12 months for a nominal fee, giving him an option of a three year contract, on condition he starts 25 games. Everybody covered.
