Hi fellow blues went to the game yesterday and was really surprised having been to bolton and watched the others on tv for the first fifteen minutes they targeted miki and good keeping from travers kept them out but once armstrong hackney and kdh got going in midfield it was great to watch constant attacking Barry in particular looked like a footballer and George was murdering them Ilie looked really good after all the rubbish made about him moving in tauting there left back patto was ok but with a new back four in Rohl branthwaite obrien azou with picks in goal and maybe a proper right back noorgaard Johnson and garner too come in as well it looks a lot better than 3 weeks ago.looking forward to saturday and lille and another possitive result and then onward to the start of the season i would like to add Rohl to our midfied as he is brilliant at box to box his proper position but i could see him as a sweeper behind or alongside branthwaite in the future but for now let's hope are crop of young players give us a lot more pleasure watching our beloved blues i know some of my post have been negative of late and i would like to thank all my fellow blues who have responded as us evertonians do and i thank all of you for your responses both kind and ? not so kind this is why i love this site for its banter and commitment to our beloved club also thanks to the eds all of you for the fantastic job you do now let's get this party started ??

For a supposed Red, you're very committed to proving us all wrong.
Thanks for info, Alanc. I was looking forward to going the new stadium but concerned we'd get a thumping based on what I've watched in pre-season so far.
Now feeling more optimistic we may compete.
Think Rohl is a really decent player and reckon he'll be played at RB when Garner and Norgaard are in the middle.

Alanc, always good watching live. Aznou is indeed a wing back. Mykolenko is not a wing back.

I pretty much agree with most of that to be honest. Although Ndiaye looks like a player with his bags packed to me. I thought Dibbling looked more dangerous when he came on. I've been really impressed with him.
Barry has been really good and he battered Newcastle. He's had a good pre season, but we now need to see this during the season and not just for 1 or 2 games.
Rohl, I think, is going to be a top elite player. It wouldn't surprise me if Bayern or Dortmund come in next year with big money for him.
Good feet, quick acceleration, rapid speed, can cross, sees runs, multiple positions and has a shot. Hopefully his injuries are over and he has a good run. What a player, though.
Another stand out for me is Armstrong. He is insanely talented and looks 1st team ready now. But his runs were intelligent, unselfish with the ball, and he constantly scans the pitch without the ball, so he knows where the pieces are on the chess board. I'll go as far as to say future England and Everton captain.
Future looks good.

Accept many of your points, but drew the line at Dribbling, don't care if he is ripping up trees at Finch Farm. He offers us so little on the pitch, it's almost like playing with ten men.
{Ed025's Note - i really want to argue with you AB...but i cant yet mate..
