Well, fellow blues, we are nearly at that time again and the season is here.
I appreciate dithering Dave frustrates us at times. He needs to get his subs right and go at teams rather than the drab approach.
Appreciate we are all allowed opinions, too, but the abuse about him not liking attacking full backs is bizarre.
I’m pretty sure I watched Coleman and Baines at some point in his first stint, flying up the wings when he got the right squad together, which I think he’s doing.
As for the negativity about Delap (not sure he is the answer btw) , but I think we should watch his goals and consider whether our strikers would put any of them away.
Plus he’s an a#s hole just like Alan Smith. Hate him when he plays against you but when he’s your man you like him.

I actually think with the two big lumps we currently up front that we need a smaller nippier type of striker. A Vardy type, just not one that is past it. He may even help the other two with the "target man / lay it off way of attacking."
The biggest issue is that DM would never switch to two strikers unless we were chasing a game, so it's a moot point.

I would like to agree, but I'm pretty tired of fans basing our judgments of Moyes and his approach off his last tenure, as opposed to his current one.
Yes, Baines and Coleman were the foundation of his approach, but that was 13 years ago, and since he came back, he has almost exclusively played centre-backs at right back, the worst left back in the league on the left, and when he was finally injured, he put another 6'5 centre-back there, as opposed to giving a chance to the very exciting, direct fullback on the bench.
Regardless of how he used to play, he's over 60 games in since he came back, and he's not played attacking fullbacks once, even though the options have been there; and the vast majority of fullbacks we've been linked with are 6'1+. The game has left the man behind.
