I’m sure most on here are worried about the direction we are heading. I think Moyes really wants success with the Blues but it looks like he’s operating with his hands tied. Thus the lack of interviews before the season started and now sharpness with the press. It looks like Burnley’s nest egg has made a difference. Meanwhile, Chelsea - City seem to have got away with pure cheating. 7 million of our overspend over three years went on the stadium, yet we are made an example of.
Moyes' contract talks have apparently gone quiet. Let’s hope in the remaining week of the window he can get a few players in - I live in hope but it’s doubtful. As for Delap; 45-50 mill is too much - but is Saveo worth up to 100 mill etc etc. I’ll be there despite years of being demoralised. But when is the tide going to change?

The tide will change when the manager changes. His interview yesterday was another arrogant rant.
I appreciate what he has done for us, but I never want to hear a manager of my club say he is prioritising avoiding relegation over winning a cup when in the League relegation should be the last thing on our minds.
Knife at a gun fight, punching above our weight, can't compete with other clubs are not things I want to hear from my manager. He's so down beat all of the time. Every interview.
Never would you hear Royle or Kendall say that.
In fact, for the ones who think us fans who remember success but think we look at the world with tired old eyes wearing rose tinted glasses, you wouldn't hear this from any ambitious manager even a Martinez, Koeman Silva, Dyche, Lampard and Ancelotte where more upbeat about our chances.
I'm not asking him to be all song and dance, but maybe he just needs to keep some of his rants to himself.
We are in the first week of the new season and any optimism is driven out of all of us. Roll on the next 9 months and let's hope someone can bring it back.

He has this Tourette's-like condition which he cannot seem to control.
Minor cup competitions are probably a hindrance to most, if not all, managers; however, they know about the backsides on seats priority, etc.
David Moyes should think about how many solar eclipses we have had since we won a trophy and stop the insults.

Maybe JB. Some people are subservient who follow and agree with what people say, even though it's belittling.
I personally think we're a great club with loads to be positive about. I believe we should be going all out to win every match and put out our strongest squad that's available and fit.
He's been manager for 10% of our existence as a club and won nothing.
Yesterday's press conference tells you why.
Regardless, even though he thinks we're relegation candidates, I still believe in this team who can go on and do something and I always will. I won't hound them, and I never boo even if they don't win, but for a manager of a top flight club to dismiss competitions as some kind of inconvenience blows my mind.
