Great to see Johnson come on and make an impact tonight. He seems a really decent and polite young lad.
The difference in raw pace he offers to anyone else in the team give us a really decent option to utilise.
That being said, gun to my head, I think I would still rather have McNeil!

Only saw a couple of minutes, but headless chicken comes to mind. Would not go to the extreme of McNeil, but I get your drift.

One assist and one goal, I don't mind headless chickens that contribute like that! He looked good when he came on, albeit against poor opposition. Lot of positives to take from tonight, so even those who usually grumble can have a night off.

Thought he played well from what I saw. Brought something different to the game when he came on and was good for his assist and goal, given his confidence has been shot at Palace.
Given his form of the last two seasons has dropped off, I'm not sure Dwight will have the same impact this season as he has before.
Still can't believe he is only 26. Feels like he has been around for a decade.

Tongue in cheek Bluepotato, and to be fair, I did mention I had just woken up/come round. Managed to watch a bit this morning, the lad certainly has pace and that throw from Pickford was a worldy.

He was central a lot. But Barry went off and George kept drifting left. Johnson is a right forward not a right mid. And imo that's what we need, especially from the bench.
