Didn't see the game tonight as I'm working but seen the highlights. Did Rohl have a decent game at RB? Not having a pop at him because he isn't a RB; just that 2 attacks from PNE showed in 1st half he was miles out of position, the nxt 1 he misjudged the flight of the ball.
Just don't want him getting pelters if that happens against better opposition and we concede. So did he play well? Hopefully he did, and what a result. ? ?

He was average, I thought tidy on the ball but caught out of position a few times, once Moyes put him in his preferred DM position, he livened up and looked natural.
Criminal if we don't sign Doue or at least someone who looks natural in the RB position. Over to you Moyes & TFG!. ???

His pace seems to make up for a lot of it, RonM. He was caught out of position but he quite easily got back and covered. He's not a natural RB but I could see him develop into one. The kid has one hell of an engine on him.
{Ed025's Note - for me BR he is a great squad player and as you say will run through brick walls which can be infectious and he is so fit, on the down side he does lose concentration at times which when he is playing full back can be very costly, its not his natural position though mate and i still see him as an asset, but he will struggle to get into the side if we get a natural Right back because we have a lot of quality in that midfield now..

As young as he is and with plenty of room for improvement, we have a great squad player in Rohl. He could develop into an excellent right back in time. His defensive positioning needs work. His stamina is impressive, he's quick, strong, can cross a ball, drives with the ball. Great cover for several positions.

Rohl could become our new Alan Harper. Though, to just try and turn him into a right back would be a waste.

Agree AD, like the lad but better attackers would find him out. Need his energy in midfield. Just get a proper right back ffs.

He's certainly a quality squad player Ed. I'm unsure of his best position and it will b interesting to see how he develops and where he ends up. He will certainly inject some pace into the team if he comes on as a sub
