I said Vardy before he went to Italy but received pelters. Yes, he may be nearly 40 but is still relatively sharp & definitely knows where the back of the net is.
Manage his minutes, & plenty of rest, & he will score goals for us.
Offer him a retainer & pay as you play wages. Do we have any better options atm?

He has no pace and that was his biggest asset. Like many good strikers, once they lose that turn of pace, they are done. And Vardy is done.

Vardy has improved his positional play & when not to waste energy on pointless runs. We have legs in midfield to help, & that's all we're missing in attack is someone to actually be able to shoot straight.

Imo, we definitely shouldn't be buying J Vardy on a free. It's a big no from me.
