We're falling into the trap of believing every rumour again. We don't know who our first, second or third choice right back targets are, do we? At present, if Inter and Everton came in for you, and you had no allegiance to Everton, who would you sign for?

If I was English and had already played a lot in the Prem and was in the England squad and had a chance of starting a WC semi-final, then I would choose Everton. If I was a younger player making his way and looking for regular first team football in a strong league that would potentially mean a bigger move in the years to come, I would choose Inter.

I admit that I haven't seen a great deal of DJ but, bar maybe one game in the World Cup, he hasn't really impressed me too much. That said, he would still walk into our team at right back!
