Earlier this afternoon, we/I published an article reporting that Everton had agreed to sell Iliman Ndiaye to Al Hilal for EUR75m (£64m) .
Unfortunately, this piece was based on a social media report from a fake account impersonating The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

Don't worry dms, I'm still waiting on the £1m promised by a Nigerian prince a few years back.. who'd have thought I needed to send him £20k first? He has promised me it again if I just send him a further £5k to pay for the bank transfer..
