Bobble saying Man City open talks about Ndiaye. Looks like we may sell and use the money elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bloody late in the window to reinvest.

Let him go.
A career-ending move to a city team, without Guardiola, and then lands in Saudi on the big bucks.
As Blues, we've seen this so many times. Surely we now know the outcome of transfers like this?
He doesn't score enough, and in fact now he seems to be reluctant to pass, and just dribbles into the ground.
He hasn't been the same since Afcom.
Sell him and get Grealish (who actually wants to play for us!) .

I actually believe we have a more direct goalscorer in Brennan, and if we get the best out of him he will easily hit 10+ goals.
We need goals more than dribbles and Grealish can in fact dribble with the best of them so Grealish plus cash is a no brainer for me as it's a win win situation.
Also, as I've always said, if they don't want to be here anymore then get rid asap and get someone in who wants to be here.

{Ed025's Note - we dont really know if does want to be here or not Pablo, if he does we need to keep him imo mate..

Apperantly City want to include Grealish in the deal, if thats case tell them to do one. No player is bigger then the club but hes got 3 years left on his contract still, just sell him separately. If hes unhappy or his head as been turned probly best to sell but not on City or Arsenal terms.

Me personally if Savio or Savinho goes for 85 mil surly Ilman has to be In the same transfer bracket. I wish him best if luck if he does go il be gutted. I just pray the money gets reinvested in the squad.

Didn't look like a lad who was pushing for a move last night or indeed the game against Palace. Lad works his socks off getting the ball back, and in both games you could see him applauding other players when they had efforts on goal.
If he does go, I for one will still watch him.

Why? Because he's a bloody good footballer and good to watch.
Unless the lad asks for a move, I would keep him. That, to me, would show ambition from the club. However, if he does go, then I hope we have replacements lined up, otherwise the football could get very dull again.

Grealish slows the game down but attracts defenders to him, good, can't shoot bad and as we're now seemingly promoting fast in your face play, he would be a luxury we cannot afford. We need a proper RB and a striker to support Pele Barry.

I'm fine with Ili going. He's a really nice fella and really does love the club, but he wants CL, which I get.

We'll get good money for him, and it will really help not just this season, but in the next two or three windows.

We've got really exciting wingers already, and there are a couple of players that look like they're coming in that will really excite as well.

Player trading is healthy if it's good money and limited, which this is.

Got nothing to do with Champions League.

Meanwhile, Spurs get Marmoush on loan.

27 Aug 2026 17:44:00
Only going off he said himself in the summer. Plus he probably wants to win a load of trophies. Or have you had a chat with him yourself, Brass?

27 Aug 2026 17:48:43
Think the point is: it's money based rather than anything else.

It's frustrating as he had stagnated and we offered him a chance to reignite his career. I'd hope he'd give us one more season and if we don't make Europe, support a sale of him with two years left on his contract.

27 Aug 2026 18:09:00
No need for sarcasm, Bju. Ndiaye is on 45k a week. City will offer him considerably more than that. Do you think maybe that has something to do with it?

27 Aug 2026 18:37:53
'Open talks' means nothing.

27 Aug 2026 19:00:38
He's been offered considerably more than his current deal by us but turned it down, BB. Think it was to do with him wanting a release fee of about 45m, which is ridiculous in this day and age.

27 Aug 2026 19:55:50
But it's one of my most charming qualities.

If it was money, he'd have been off to the Saudi League. However, he's turned it down, if we are to believe his dad. He also said he isn't driven by money.

So I'm more inclined to believe what he said about CL and trophies. But hey, don't we all want a pay rise? I wouldn't hold it against him.

Anyway, nothing personal, mate.
